Toronto Flooring Solutions recently installed Luxury Vinyl flooring in our home. From start to finish, it was a great experience. We visited the showroom where Gurp answered all of our questions. He then showed up at our home with a few of the samples we’d chosen, so that we could see how the various colours worked in each of our spaces. His team showed up promptly when they said they would arrive and worked diligently for two very full days, transforming our home from its dated and worn-out past to the present. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The change is miraculous and very uplifting. Not just that, but the TFS team was very professional throughout, and very detail-oriented. I pride myself on being meticulous but I could not have done what they did, and they did it with an attention to detail that we were pleasantly surprised by. In a world where exemplary customer service has become as rare as affordable housing in Toronto, TFS was a welcome surprise.

I don't love to post negative reviews, but I am seriously disappointed with the customer service I experienced. I was able to get someone to come to my house, but to actually be provided a quote has been impossible. It has been 2 months and today they told me to take my business somewhere else. I followed up several times via email and phone and never received a response. I would definitely reconsider choosing this company as they were extremely unhelpful and rude.

Original Review from 2021: I am a very high maintenance individual when it comes to shopping for home renovation contractors. I've had too many bad experiences trying to save a few dollars and finding any con artist on Kijiji - who simply steals your money and leaves you hanging in despair. I decided I would shop new flooring contractors on the basis of track record, client-contractor connection and pricing above medium average. From the first call I had with Gurp through to paying the initial deposit and until project completion, I haven't regretted choosing Toronto Flooring Solutions. The whole team including the flooring installers - were high-quality, happy, and superior professionals. As a professional myself in my field, it takes a happy professional to know a happy professional - and these guys are HAPPY PROFESSIONALS. No project is perfect - neither was my condo unit. The interior sliding door tracks had to be modified to be reinstalled, but Gurp handled it as professionally as any high-quality contractor would. Most contractors would just blame the customer and leave you hanging. Through communication, planning and commitment - with reassurance - they got it done with minimal modifications. Instead of cutting the hardwood floors or adding in ugly transitions. Therefore, Gurp treated the project as if it were his own home, and made sure I understood the various options. (WHO WANTS TO CUT BEAUTIFUL NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS - if you don't have to.) I am not one to write negative reviews lightly, as I am a small business owner myself, but I am really disappointed with the customer service of this company. a sales rep and his assistant came to my house to do the quote, and since then it has been a game of chase while I try to get a quote and follow up. My main point of contact has been with the assistant, who did not seem to be able to answer basic questions on the product, when we followed up with a visit to the showroom, but I gave him benefit of the doubt assuming he is a sales rep in training....but answering emails and phone messages after the fact has been very poor, and I am now , after losing valuable time trying to get a response, am moving on to find another company who can install hardwood in my house. I have lost all confidence that this company will actually follow through on timely installation.
