We love this place and hope they reopen soon. Used to go here multiple times a week, they were a great part of this community. Great drink options in their cafe, friendly service, really nice prepared food options for an easy meal. I always recommend this place as some of the best coffee in the area. Ignore all the drama and negative reviews down in these comments, a lot of it seems like review bombing from this ex-employee’s associates…what that person did to this establishment and staff was terrible.
Quality of the establishment has gone done. I've come here pre-pandemic and it was a fantastic spot and recently the quality of the food and the products have gone down. Considering you have Summerhill market just down the street, I would recommend starting your shopping there first.
I just moved to the neighborhood and getting a coffee and croissant in the morning was a ritual I always looked forward to. The # of fake low reviews is crazy. They have been closed for two weeks, yet all these people are posting reviews and even ubereats screenshots that are obviously fake(they havent had ubereats for as long as they have been closed). Hopefully they will re-open again

I've lived in the neighbourhood for almost 40 years and have shopped there ever since it opened. The food is better quality, small batch and priced as good or better than the market a few doors down who mass produce everything in their commissary that serves a bunch of stores. It's telling that the negative reviews are very short, some just have one star yet no text and have all been posted recently even though the place has been closed for almost 2 weeks now. Why bother if it's not even open? It's obviously a campaign by a disgruntled ex-employee to harm a business as pointed out in detail by the owner on here. I sure hope they reopen. They were a real asset to the neighbourhood and a superb alternative to the other choice on the street.
Ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Rosedale’s Finest! Great communication to ensure accurate pick up; instructions included! Delicious dinner. Friendly, helpful staff who demonstrate attention to detail. Service oriented! Adding an extra note: today I dropped in to pick up my Christmas dinner. As others have noted the owner is truly kindhearted! He heard that I had to go off to get an ingredient and gave me what i needed (brandy for the Christmas dessert). The store provides friendly, helpful and kind service! So fortunate to be able to shop at such a special place. Please note I am deeply saddened that Rosedale’s Finest is no longer open. They catered many of our family events. Their care and dedication to excellence was exceptional.
