I was disappointed to find that the bread was not fresh, even when purchased in the morning. I gave it a few chances, but the quality was consistently below expectations.
It was 6pm on a Monday night Dec 10th. Store clises at 7 pm I asked for a whole chicken for soup to be cut into quarters The butcher shop staff said they could not cut it for me because the saw had been cleaned. So I left the chicken. There was ko one else at the counter and two youn g guys behind the butcher counter with nothing to do.
I was accidentally charged twice for my purchase, which can happen, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing. Instead of resolving it quickly, I was told I had to come back in person for a refund. When I did, the manager wasn’t available and I was asked to wait 20 minutes while staff showed no urgency or respect for my time. A simple mistake turned into a frustrating and inconvenient experience.
Always go for the pastries made in-house. Was very disappointed that the crostatas have changed both in size and taste. Much smaller. the apple crostata, in particular, was not the same. Apples were mushy and crust different. 14.99. Please bring back the regular ones sold behind counter. Worth every penny. Other pastries r amazing. Cannolis to die for.
The fruits and veggies here taste the best. Cute grocery store with good options for pasta, fruits, veggies, cheese and meat. Also, the bakery and hot food section is good
Great supermarket coming from a 35 year exec from.a large competitor and the hot table was lovely. Your fresh food counter was very well stocked with the highest quality products
Overall very good quality and really great service. Be sure to check BB dates on premade salads and sandwiches. Almond cookies are great but they are definitely overpriced. A salad had mushy red pepper that turned which is why I have left 4 and not 5 stars.
