Some dumb guy at Deli, asking me for receipt for a patty even though I told him it’s already paid for. I went to RABBA after many years because earlier a cashier refused to warm up my BEEF PATTY saying that microwave wasn’t working. Bye!! Raba
The short, dark-skinned woman with dyed hair at the fresh food section is very rude. She looks at you with an angry, stern face as if she’s saying “What do you want?” and replies with frustration and anger when you ask something. I don’t think I’ll be buying anything from here again.
Just dialled up at 11pm May 26th. Person picked up the phone, he was not able to understand English. I requested him to check it out. He very rudely hung up the phone. I called back twice he didn’t pick up the phone. Take necessary action before it becoming cancer for the business. Thanks
I don't usually write reviews, but today I felt compelled to, it was my first time coming to this rabba location. I walked in at about 11pm, there was woman and a older middle eastern male who seemed to be the owner or "boss" being very aggressive and pushy with his own employee, both of them were at the check out counter unpacking random items, I was ready to cash out my snacks so the woman started scanning out my items for me, i asked what type of du maurier cigarettes they had available I had to pick up for my cousin because he likes a certain kind, they didn't have what he wanted so she ask me if he might like a different type of du maurier, so I stood on the side to make a quick 1min phone call to him to ask if he'd be okay a different type. meanwhile there's no esle there at the cash counter or behind me except 1 other customer who was already getting helped out by the "boss" guy on another cash till, he suddenly walks over and starts yelling at me rushing me saying racist comments, "this is canada! learn how to speak what you need! or go just back where ever your from" he wasn't allowing her to even show me the cigarette pack micromanaging everything and being condescending towards her. so I could confirm if its the right one my cousin usually gets (btw I was born here speaking fluent English all my life) but it could have been the colour of my skin that triggered him to say this to me, I was speechless I just paid for my things quickly and left.
Selling jalapeños in packages of five is pretty tone deaf in this day and age of high inflation and soaring food costs - that’s probably why there were packages that had been torn open, with a single jalapeño removed) I’ve supported this business since it opened (2-3 time per week I’m in there) but unless they go back to selling them as singles I won’t continue to shop here anymore. I’ll shop somewhere else for the next month and when I come back in if you’re still selling them in packages of five it will be the last time I set foot in your store!
Great store, very convenient and close to my apartment. The food they sell are fresh but a bit expensive than in big grocery stores. The good thing is few steps to where I live.
Tried to charge my credit card 31 dollar for produce worth 18 dolllae and then claimed it was a mistake. Hard to believe, seemed more like a scam to me
