I come here regularly and have only ever seen 2 staff members. The man seems nice but can never answer my questions about products, while the woman actively ignores customers, and even seems annoyed by their presence. I’ve only ever seen her being friendly to an elderly woman when they were speaking the same language. They also have a shelf in an awkward nook and whenever I go in there, I feel I am being closely watched which is uncomfortable, especially since I’m otherwise ignored, even when saying hi. They have 1 or 2 vegan treats, some Asian products, and a rotation of good quality local fruits and veggies at decent prices. I have seen some packaged products on the shelf that are close to the expiry.
I like to come here for essentials but lately less inclined to visit. There's a Filipino women I believe who is at the cash register, she has been a bit short and rude when I ask her various questions, maybe depending on her mood? There is another man who is always polite but this woman has an attitude, the owners should take note.
Nice neighbourhood store with a good variety of fruits and veggies, but some of the staff is regrettably rude. There were two instances in which a particular cashier made me feel like I was wasting her time asking questions, and dismissed my concerns when I raised the possibility of food being unsafe for consumption. Really unfortunate that some of their front-facing staff is like this.
Great prices for fruit and veggies. Also very kind staff who care about the quality of their products rather than only caring about money. My go to place for essential fruit & veggies!!
I do almost all of my shopping here since discovering it a few months ago. The produce is so fresh and yummy. They have all the essentials, and the prices are reasonable! 10/10!
I’m in love!!! This market is hands down the best fruit market I have ever found. The staff, Justin in particular, makes this a neighborhood gem. Always smiling and so kind and helpful. What an employee!!! Pre cut fruit, always fresh, great selection, super cool foods and snacks, amazing prices! I honestly never buy fruit anywhere else anymore. Just tonight they were closing and he let me in with a smile, cut some fruit for me, and wished me a wonderful evening. A+++++ service and products. A wonderful addition to the danforth!
this place is it's word. it definitely shows freshness here, well packaged goods, great hours, great prices and can see the owner works hard and loves what she does. i hope this place continues to flourish! stop by and check it out.
