Friendly staff, very pleasant to interact with. They just don't tolerate when people are disrespectful to them, that doesn't mean they're rude. Great food, always worth the wait!
had a surprisingly okay experience came here not knowing reviews got a chicken slice for cheaper then most new to this chain fresh ingredients just kind of flat but overall passes the test
Holy goodness gracious, this place was abysmal. It was the only place open late at night, but my buddies and I still found it despicably bad even when trashed. 0 Stars.
This is not good pizza. I found the only taste to be tomato sauce, literally nothing else. The only reason I returned to this place is because I was wasted and it was the only store open, and even then it was underwhelming at best. I cannot recommend avoiding this place enough!
Mamma's on Richmond gets a 5 from me for being a stalwart presence in the Toronto pizza universe, unpretentious, part of the furniture, comfy. I've tried all the artisan pizzas around where I live and have not been disappointed, they are all very good! Acute, Macs, FMitF, Badiali's. All premium pizzas for a premium price. But Mamma's is my favourite, partly for sentimental reasons -- as a teenager, my boyfriend and I used to travel from our small town to Mamma's in Oshawa because, back then, their spaghetti could not be beat and we loved the pizza too. Mamma's has carefully created a list of tbeir own specialty pizzas (totally customizable if you want to tinker), both traditional and modern. The pizzas my family had -- artichoke Asiago on a thin crust, and good old double pepperoni with green pepper, onions, and mushrooms on a thicker crust, well done -- were delicious and pure comfort food. Can't go wrong! And, importantly, unlike my local artisan shops, Mamma's is affordable! Still an occasional treat for my family, but not anywhere near the cost of a Raptors ticket, for example. The delivery driver was a sweetheart. So, I fully recommend this quiet little shop that's been on the corner of Richmond and Spadina forever, I used to ride my bike past it everyday when I worked downtown, and was reminded of those long ago high-school dates. A humble and reliable Toronto institution. ❤️
Went here few times the pizza is still in great condition all the food here is great and personally I think more people should order from it if they got budgets to splurge or wanna cheat meal from it. Great Calzone, Great Pasta, Great Cheesecakes… Poutine needs work, Great Riceballs and what else….oh amazing Pizza but I’d rather choose Pizza Pizza’s dips….pairing it with it would be absolute greatness Mamma’s Pizza and Pizza Pizza dips you get 100% pass and approve.
Pizza is terrible, all dough, no sauce, no cheese, and it was overcooked as well. Ordered loaded fries and it was 99 % fries and 1 % topping. Thoroughly disappointed, if I could go back in time I wouldn’t spend a dollar.
