Truly magnificent! Starting with Alessandra’s hospitality, it felt like walking into my Italian family’s home. The way she described every dish with so much passion and love had me excited for what was to come and oh let me tell you the food lives up to description, so tasty and flavorful and extremely well balanced. Love the thoughtfulness of the seasonal ingredients. Highly recommend and Will definitely be back!
Absolutely stunning experience! The level of genuine personal service and enthusiasm is exactly what is missing from most dining experiences in Toronto. We ordered almost everything on the menu and it was hit after hit with flavours, timing, portions and presentation, perfect wine pairings … yummy yummy and funnnnn, thank you to our lovely host, owner and chef Sandra ♥️
One of our favourite neighbourhood spots for dinner. We love the menu which changes with the seasons - it's not cheap but it's definitely worth the price. The food is homemade and absolutely delicious - we have never had a dish there that disappointed us. By keeping the menu smallish and focused, they ensure that everything that is offered is perfectly prepared and well thought through. The owner is attentive and accommodating. She always goes above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and valued. We repeat here often and always leave happy and well fed.
We arrived on time for an early dinner reservation. The food was great, but it took a long time to order, and longer for the food to come out. I guess she didn't leave enough time between reservations and was rude about trying to get us out. We wrapped up and left quickly to avoid issues with us mostly being done our mains, but no chance for dessert or coffee. Expensive and not a great experience.
I recently enjoyed my 7th visit to the wonderful Morellina’s, and once again it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and elegant décor. The service was flawless—every staff member made us feel truly cared for. The food was nothing short of a culinary journey, showcasing both artistry and passion. Sandra and Lina’s love for food shines through in every dish, making this restaurant a true gem. We absolutely love it!
My wife, my daughter and I went for dinner last night. We've driven by this place dozens of times and wondered what it was? How it was? So we thought we would give it a shot. WOW. What an amazing surprise. What a delightful and delicious surprise. A friendly intimate space. With a host that made me feel like I was a guest at a party in her home. The food was amazing. One of the best, if not THE best Italian meals I have had. From the appetizer right through the dessert, absolutely delicious. I will be comparing every other Italian dish I eat to the food I had last night. I will go again. I am already recommending it to friends. Go. Enjoy. Splurge.
