Hidden gem!! Greeted warmly at the door. Excellent food. Huge portions. Didn’t break the bank. I had the branzino and it was to die for. I’ll be back. Highly recommend.
This is our go-to Italian restaurant, and it never disappoints. The dishes are always tasty, fresh, and served promptly. Miguel, the head waiter, is exceptional — friendly, respectful, and consistently offers excellent service. We truly enjoy every visit and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Italian food.
We were here last night, on a Monday evening. The mushroom soup and bread were nice, the Ceasar salad had a nice homemade dressing but no croutons, parmesan or bacon. Both the salmon pasta and the eggplant Parm with spaghetti for portion and taste were on par with Cheesecake Factory. The servers were kind, but seemed somewhat new to serving. The prices were very fair- we paid $90 for everything including an 18% tip.
Love it. Portion size, quality ingredients, taste, affordable... everything hits the mark. Huge fan! Been back several times. Took the office there for our Holiday lunch. Everyone enjoyed everything!
Ordered pepperoni pizza ($11), bruschetta ($6 for 4 pieces) and shrimp carbonara ($18) for take-out. The prices were fair, and so were the portion sizes. The food itself was okay! Pepperoni pizza was thin crust and crispy, and basic. The bruschetta, was also okay. Tomatoes with a bit of chopped herb. A bit of salt or acidity would've been nice! And the shrimp carbonara was actually shrimp in a lemon cream sauce, not an authentic carbonara. Overall good! Would come again and try some other items on the menu.
Ordered a large takeout delivery order, two days in advance via Uber. That was disastrous because of the delivery window and confusion. I was having a small gathering and if not for the great service from the restaurant, it would have been ruined. The food was very good. Home style Italian and very generous portions with high quality ingredients. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
First patio restaurant meal post-pandemic! My friend and I were actually walking down Danforth to go to another restaurant but the smell from another diner's food changed our plans. Joe recommended the cannelloni and he was right, it's really good! The mushroom risotto is also really good, and the chocolate and salted caramel gelatos are fantastic!
