Placed an order within the last 48hours for a watch. Got email confirmation that my order was placed. I even downloaded their app to track my package only to get an email 8 hours later that my transaction is deemed fraudulent. When I try to call for the first 6-9 attempts, no one picks up. Then eventually, this guys picks up the phone only to say, he cannot HELP or assist if there middle man (shopify) deems the transaction fraudulent. DO NOT order from this company as you will only get a headache and your order cancel if you're from Outside of Ontario but still within Canada. HUGE disappointment.
I ordered a Longines watch through Gem Bijou's website and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived one day later (I live 450 km. from Toronto) and was pleased to be able enjoy the unboxing experience that one expects when purchasing a luxury watch. I would definitely recommend them. The order processing, packaging and delivery were exemplary.

Bad experience with an online purchase. The watch didn't ship for several days and when asked, told it is out of stock. Looking at the other reviews, seems it happens often. Don't buy here if time sensitive. Their email system notifying the order is cancelled doesn't arrive until 2 weeks later. Could have bought something else in that time.
On March 28 2020, I ordered a black dial Hamilton Khaki Field from Sam (Owner) through Chrono24. When I received the watch, it was defective as the minute hand was bent upwards and so every time the second hand came around it collided with the minute hand and the movement jammed. I reached out to Sam to advised me to send the watch back and that he would issue a refund along with reimbursing me for return shipping. The whole time he was never apologetic and even seemed annoyed and aggressive over the phone. I shipped the watch back and when he received it, I called him and he said that he no longer had any black dial in stock but he could offer me a white dial or a Black PVD version. I took him up on his offer for the white dial but then he said he would no longer be reimbursing me for the $20 return shipping because its a "straight exchange". I'm really confused then as to in what scenario he was agreeing to reimburse me the return shipping then as in a return scenario, he still won't reimburse me. Same passive aggressive and annoyed tone, he said the return is out of his control since its Chrono24 doing the refund. So as of today, I have returned the watch, I have not been reimbursed for the return shipping, I have not received my money back for the watch and I have not been given an option where I am not losing out due to him sending me a broken watch to begin with.
