I try to go three times a year. I go for the crystals and the jewelry. So much to choose from and see. Lots of unique and rare finds. Some of the vendors can be a little pushy but it is a show. Great venue for the show too. I like all the draws and contests.
I go every year and can spend hours in both rooms. I always buy something and get to meet great people from my tribe. Everyone loves rocks, from young to very old. Lots of great jewellery for collecting or making into personal pieces. The psychics are great people as well. Did I mention the free mini seminars they have? There is always something to learn.
My jewelry dealer was very helpful, however even though I was the one making the purchase, my buddy appeared to attract the attention of the salespeople because she was dressed better than I was. made me chuckle a little, but understood!
First time here, bet it will be the last time too. I bought 3 stones from one of the vendors, didn’t realize 2 of them are chipped/cracked until I get home and look at them under better lighting. I’m not a professional, a regular customer who likes gemstones. I wouldn’t put the blame on the seller 100% I should’ve took a better look instead of just pointing finger at the ones I like and pay for them. BUT, I would expect the sellers to be more professional and honest, at least check your inventory before you put them on the table and sell them. Also the seller refused to accept the coupon that was provided by the show. I’m not even concerned about the few hundred dollars I spent here it makes me feel like I got scammed. Lessons learned!
Second time attending, all the vendors are knowledgeable on different aspects of rocks and minerals. As someone who love the geological aspect I didn’t feel overwhelmed with the metaphysical aspect. I met the two people (husband and wife I believe) who run the expo and they go above and beyond to ensure safety, public health measures. With the heat they provide cold water free of charge, and in free place to hang your jacket with n the winter. The show has a mix of beads, raw crystal/ minerals, polished crystals such as tumbles/ towers/spheres. they also had a nice mix of jewelry grade minerals and showcase items. Wether you’re just getting started or a long time collector this is the place you wanna be if you live in Toronto. This takes place thee/ four times a year over a span of three days
Wow I was in heaven. Tickets are only $10 and selection was out of this world! Highly recommended for any crystal lovers or anyone looking for unique jewelry. Even if you don't plan to buy, you will meet some incredible people, hear some amazing stories and learn that the world is bigger than just you. Best part is that it helps support local businesses.
This is a great show. There is a variety of dealers from Toronto and beyond selling beads, gems, minerals and more. If you like to get your palm read there is a Metaphysical component. I don't like letting people touch my hand or look at my palm so I have not fully explored that end of the show.
