Helen, and the rest of the team on the day of our visit, were incredibly welcoming and informative. Unlike some of my past experiences at other high-end boutiques, she was not intimidating and made us feel completely comfortable. There was no pressure to purchase anything, and she was very patient. I spent about 15 minutes trying on two different ring sizes and never felt rushed. I originally came in to try on a ring I was considering, and even though I didn’t end up purchasing during the visit (they didn't have the color and size I was looking for), she still offered to let me try on another item I was interested in since I was already there. I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I hope Helen will be the one to assist us during all our future visits.

I went in today with my partner to shop at this location. Our associate, Joseph, was very welcoming and helpful. He made our experience memorable. He did made a lot of suggestions and answered all of our questions regarding their jewelry. We are very happy with our purchase. We will definitely be back and will ask him again to assist us.
We had a wonderful experience at Van Cleef & Arpels, thanks to Pearl’s exceptional service. I instantly fell in love with one of their rings—it was love at first sight! However, my partner wasn’t as keen on the matching band for him. Pearl was incredibly patient and helpful, showing us several other options until we found the perfect fit. Although I had originally booked an appointment for 2pm, the team kindly accommodated us right away when we walked in. Pearl provided outstanding service—helpful, patient, and never pushy. While we ultimately chose rings elsewhere, I truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and highly recommend this location!

It is so unfortunate when you make a purchase and look forward to retrieving what you’ve worked so hard to buy. I wanted a van cleef motif bracelet for a while and finally received it as a gift. So very thankful after looking at how van cleef carries its brand, all it has to offer and how much pride they claim to take in their work and their customers experience. All to be led astray. When I first received the bracelet, it was too big and I wanted it sized, the sales associate told me it wasn’t too big and I am not used to thin bracelets. I am not sure if there is training on etiquette or the way in which you speak to not only a customer but a human being, but those left field assumptions are out of pocket. Sometimes questions when unsure of things does one better. Regardless I carried through with resizing my $5,750 +tax bracelet because after all if money is paid for something that is mine, it should be suited to my needs. I resized my bracelet and it was still not up to par. For the second time, I went back and was met with Abbey who was nice and kind - and truly exemplified what Van Cleef is all about. However, I now for the final time had to retrieve my resized bracelet and was met with a new sales associate who definitely did not take the precautionary measures to make sure I was taken care of or had a great experience. I was told my name wasn’t found, there was no bracelet, then when it was retrieved because I didn’t make the purchase I couldn’t pick up the bracelet. There was no empathy in trying to make a solution or time taken - it was very cut and dry and solidified that nothing could be done. I cannot express how disheartening it is to go somewhere and feel like I was in Walmart with the customer service I received or if I was a criminal - when $5,750+ tax obviously has to come from a human being that works hard to make their money and chooses to give it to a company that makes billions of dollars, in support of the brand and all it entails. WHY DO YOU HIRE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT RESPECT OR WANT TO BE KIND TO ALL HUMANS REGARDLESS OF RACE OR CREED? It’s honestly despicable, Van Cleef should be ashamed. Van Cleef on Bloor is very respectable, I would not recommend Van Cleef Yorkdale ever again in my life. My purchases from Tiffany, Cartier and Jo Malone in Yorkdale have never made me feel so badly.
