This is over a year in the making. The gentlemen who runs the store is friendly but did not fix my phone or followup when I asked him to. My initial problem was to see if he can essentially 'revive' my old phone so that I could get some old pictures from it, to which he said he could. Weeks later after no followup, I contacted him for an update. To my surprise, he said it was all fixed and can come pick it up. So I did. After doing so, I came back home only to realize it still didn't turn on. So I went back and let him know the screen wouldnt turn on, to which he said it was likely something to do with a battery or part that he needed to order to get it fixed. So I gave him my phone again. Months later, after no follow-up, I contacted him again and asked if there was any update. He said he did not receive the part yet but would fix it and backup my phone on a USB once he was able. MONTHS later, he calls to let me know he got the part and it's all backed up. I went back to pickup my old phone with a USB only to find out he backed up the wrong phone and I have ALL of someone else's phone information (pictures, contacts, emails, other confidential information). I'm stunned and dissapointed by the lack of communication, the time it took to get this task completed (not really though), and the carelessness in giving me someone else's confidential phone data.
The gentleman who runs the shop is super helpful. Will try and find the least expensive option for you if possible. And is willing to work with customers to find a solution. So many other places will make you feel like you were being forced to get things you do not need. You won't feel like that here.
The guy that runs this store is awesome and genuinely cares about getting your device working. They also have a "if it doesn't work you don't pay" clause. I took my phone to mobileklinic and was told I have a motherboard issue and there was nothing they could do. I bought my phone here. He tried several different things to get my phone working again and succeeded. Prices are very good as well.
Most honest, friendly, efficient phone repair place in the city. I highly recommend this place; I have been using them for years and have never been let down!
He quickly fixed my boyfriend's old LG phone screen. With such good customer service it was worth price. I highly recommend this place if you're tired of the poor customer service of most repair places in the GTA.
Just like most people, I’m always skeptical about phone repair shops. When when my “waterproof” iPhone died after being in a water for 2 seconds and Apple Store told me they can’t fix it, I gave this spot a chance because of such good reviews. And I was not wrong to do so! The guy working here was super friendly, I didn’t feel like he was trying to upsell me and he actually fixed my phone for a pretty reasonable price :) 5/5
Had my Pixel 2 cracked screen and battery replaced by this service for $200+ in February this year and have had a list of issues. The screen first of all came unglued within 24 hours of the repair. On my return to the shop the technician claimed I didn't give him enough time to let the glue dry even though I left the shop and returned 3 hours later. I had to make 2 more trips before the screen finally held and the technician fixed the issue. Within 3 months of use the screen cracked despite having a protective casing on the phone - this is versus the original pixel screen which didn't crack for 2+ years with the same protective casing. With respect to my battery replacement my battery life is basically the same now as it was pre-servicing. Bottom line - I will not be getting my phone serviced here again
