I had great service at this store. My phone had a screen issue, but the clerk fixed it quickly—it only took about half an hour. The staff member I met today was very nice and kind. I would definitely recommend this store.

I went to Mobile One on Sep 6 to remove water from my phone because the back camera wasn’t working. The guy asked $65 but agreed to $50 cash. He dried the phone but left water inside the lens, then told me the camera might need replacing. Today I went to Xwireless on Baldwin Ave—they properly cleaned the lens, removed all the water, and my camera is working perfectly again. They only charged $40! Really disappointed with Mobile One. Won’t be going back—lesson learned!
Got a phone from freedom less then a month ago and the sales person suggested this store for my chords, case and screen protecter. The chords and case have been fine but the screen protecter all ready has cracks in it. And I’m not one to drop my phone. My previous phones screen protecter lasted the whole 2 years. Disappointed.
I needed to replace my S20 5G glass, which was slightly chipped (which I found out needs to be an entire screen repair). Calvin (who I dealt with) was great - knowledgeable, patient, ploite, and honest. He offered me an amazing price (~ $150 - ~$180 less than what most places were charging). When I inquired how he was able to offer that, he provided me with a very forthright answer, which I was very impressed with. He could have easily made that extra money off of me rather, he shared what the best and most economical way for me to go about my repair. In the end, I chose to go with a service pack and had my screen and battery replaced (still cheaper by $30) by the next closest competitor I provided him with a small deposit after hours, and he had the part ready for me the next morning. He texted me to make sure everything was in order, and so I dropped off the phone at 1145am, and the repair was completed at 1215pm sharp! 30m - I thought that was very fast. Calvin was thorough. He checked my phone before I gave it to him (to make sure everything was working) and tested it again in front of me after I was done. He also offered me all my old parts, which was reassuring to know I didn't get recylced to someone else (I have heard horror stories). I needed another case as mine was damaged, and he made a suggestion to me; I liked it and picked it up as well. Lastly, for those 1* reviews that attack the individual at Mobile One, I am not sure who they are referring to, and I can only speak from my experience. Very rarely do you get honest, kind, and patient people that will take the time to create a positive experience for you. I had a lot of questions, called 3x before I came in becuase this is not something that we do repairs for often - Calvin made it really worthwhile and I am grateful for his workmanship and his good natured approach. Mobile One is centrally located downtown minutes from the Bay TTC station, and you can access the store via the path. I have an old mobile that stopped working and plan to take that to Mobile One as well. Free diagnosis - can't go wrong! Thank you again, Calvin!
The lady was so cold and angry for some reason. Maybe she was having some difficulty. Hope she is doing well but that really scared me. Not gonna come back for sure. The nature of retail is really customer service. They are surely skillful technicians but should really improve the attitude.
