I have recently changed my eye doctor to Dr. Alan Ng at the Eye Associate at Don Mills. Dr. Ng was down to earth and explained all my eye conditions and gave me details options. I really like the way that he treat his patient and happy that I made the change. The office was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend here for your eye care.
I just felt that the eye exam fee is way over charged. Their explanation is that I don’t covered under OHIP. I was shocked when my insurance won’t be able cover the charge due to guideline set by the insurance company.
As the only child in my family of 5 children who needed glasses, I have always been super picky about my eye care. A number of years, I got lucky and met Dr Karen Cobean. Words can not explain the degree of care and attention to details I have received for every eye exam over the years. I also wear hard contact lens and she has personally measured and ordered them for me many times. Never any issue!! If you are looking for professional eye care, look no more, she is fantastic! I also want to mention, the cost of examination is high!! I work for a big company and have one of the best insurance policies offered to employee and even they didnt cover the entire cost! but like I said, I am willing to pay as the eye care is exceptional!
