Very tired pub,dim lights and looks dirty,need a good clean and a bit of love. Nice bartender,guiness was just ok. It's a sad pub stuck in the 80s glory days.
Excellent, traditional pub. The mac and cheese was fantastic as was the garlic bread. Lots of beer and liquor to choose from, our server on Monday night was above and beyond. Definitely looking forward to a return
Cozy old-style pub with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Had the chicken buffalo wrap, nachos, poutine and cauliflower bites — all amazing! Definitely coming back
First time visit, I had heard great things about their extensive Scotch collection though it has reduced to a couple of pages now. Still great collection from all the main areas in Scotland. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would go back any time.
Really solid food and a solid pub in general. If you are looking for some traditional pub fare with a pint of beer to wash it all down, this is the place.
Just walked away paying more for a glass of coke than the wings I ordered. As I dig deeper into the law I see that the policy is illegal under the AGCO rules. As a person who is recovering from an alcohol addiction this policy is punishing me for another my addiction and taking steps to better myself. My half priced wings cost $8.50 and my coke cost me $8.75. When I confirm the server I was told that "this is a bar." I will be calling to speak with a manager and I will be willing to change this review if steps are taken at the establishment to stop this discriminatory practice.
The new owners should be ashamed. The quality of the food has plummeted. Formerly a favorite place for a proper British roast, i.e. prime rib, we were served a nearly well-done cut that was NOT prime rib. It came with an abject failure of a Yorkshire pudding, cold mashed potatoes and slimy, sweetened horseradish paste. The tragically reduced scotch menu was about the only saving grace.
