Decent overall. Server wasn’t very friendly. Bathroom was super cramped, you literally open the door to someone peeing and half exposed to the hallway and without room to walk by to the sink to wash or to use a stall. Beer was good though and the patio was awesome!
My partner and I stopped in for a few pints over the weekend. The bar tender was really cool and great to chat with and our only regret is we didn't grab any food. The menu looked awesome.
First time here. Night started off with stimulating conversations. Bartender Sara was great! patrons were awesome. And to top it all off and quartet or a quintet were playing. So talented. Loved ever bit of the performance!!! Great live band! Thank you so much for making my evening.
Accommodating even when I came in just before the kitchen closed, which was really rude of me, but they provided my food with a smile. Will definitely return.
I reserved the 2nd floor (the mezzanine) for a staff function. The guests were blown away with this beautiful, open space!! The management was very accommodating and would check on us frequently. The service, drinks and food were exceptional. The fun atmosphere, music and great menu really set the tone for a fabulous time! We are looking forward to returning for another great event!!
No host to greet at the door which is fine so we went to the bartender to say hi. He asked what we wanted in a rather gruff manor. We asked if we could sit on the patio he said "ya what do ya want" in another rather less than hospitable tone. We asked if we had a server and how it works. A third time the bartender responds with "ya what do ya want". We left. This older gentleman bartender with short white hair and beard needs to remember that hospitality means to be hospitable to people that want to spend money on your property!!! Terrible experience!
Lived in Parkdale since 2002, for 16 years, been visiting locales for a s--t tonne longer. I personally preferred the grunge look but things change. Cool, hard working owners, lots of regulars, hidden rear patio, great beer on regularly cleaned lines, easily the coolest and unpretentious Bar in Parkdale. Good on ya!
