The staff here are my absolute favourite staff in the city. They make you feel at home and always make sure you're taken care of. It's one of the last places in the city where you feel like it's your second home. Tory, Tom, Taylor and Aldrin, you are all the best!!
Place was dead when I went in around 12pm and smelled a little stale. But made up for it with service and food. Was pleasantly surprised. Everything was made fresh and tasted really nice. The girl working kept checking up on us. Overall 4/5 experience but the bar smell ruined it.
For those in the Sumerhill area who want to eat something quick and have a beer or a drink, the Pub is an option. The place is small, with an upper area with tables and chairs and a bar area, along with the restrooms for customers, and a pool table area on the lower level. The menu doesn't have a wide variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable. The service is great, always very polite and attentive. For those who like Poutine, the order always comes out very well served and tasty. However, on my last visits, I was dissatisfied with the drinks: both the beers ordered tasted sour, and the mimosa had no taste at all, just of aged orange. The place is always clean and organized, and now in the spring and summer, they have two tables on the sidewalk, so it's possible to visit with your pet (dog). For visitors with physical disabilities, the place does not have adapted bathrooms, doors that open and close automatically, or menus in Braille. I hope that the bar will be better on future visits, because the last few times it was not good.
I liked the place, and my drink was good. However, I am not sure if overall was a good price at the end. I thought the mozzarella sticks were kinda laughable because it comes with "salad"... see the salad in the picture seems like a joke.
Very friendly staff and great service. The food was good as well—I ordered the North Indian curry, which had more of a West Indian flavour, but it was delicious.
Felt so welcomed here. From the staff to the regulars. Very comfortable, everyone is very friendly. Tom gets top marks. And so does Darlene. She is such a beautiful sweet heart.
Low quality poor service and price not as cheap as it mentions on Google. The Thai Mango Jasmine rice had a very small portion of rice and the chicken was way too sweet. The chicken fingers had a handful of fries and were burnt. The waitress ignored us mostly and was quite unfriendly. Wouldn't recommend it
