They always cheat with you at the Meat section. I buy beef from them for a certain weight and come home and see less amount. During weighting and packaging, they remove meat pieces if you are not looking. Unethical
The workers here are scammers. I went to buy a Bangladeshi lime. The price was 7.99/lb. Someone in a butchers outfit was cashing me out. Another guy came and told him to charge me 7.99. They did not weigh the lime and charged me full price. I came home and weighed it myself and it was 0.3lb. It should have cost me $2.66 but they charged me 8. Watch out for pricing when you go here. They will take advantage of you.
I been to this place for fish.... But they are not helpful at all ... Very rude behaviour by those store people, very bad way they treat their customers .... Not recommended at all
HORRIBLE TAX GUY. Rude disrespectful. DO NOT file your taxes with the guy in the basement. Very Snobby and makes you feel like you’re wasting his time. DO NOT FILE YOUR TAXES WITH HIM. You will regret it the minute you enter his office.
They sold me expired flour. I called them to ask if they could exchange- I live in Montreal and I was to get an exchange when I return the expired flour to the store. When I returned to the store, they frustrated me and blamed me for buying expired flour without checking the expiry date. They were so rude & refused to give me a full refund. They gave me 1/3 of what I’d spent to buy the flour. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. And they have lied on their response below. I returned the flour full (it had expired a year before I purchased it). I called the store and told them about it, and about the next time I’d be in Toronto- they told me to bring the flour to their store when I travel for a refund or exchange. They harassed me when I returned the flour and refused to give a full refund.
Been a regular customer here. Owner is helpful but couple of guys(meat section) are rude. Check the responses given for other low ratings you will get an idea :) FYI There is a similar bigger store near with more friendly staff if you looking for options.
If I had the chance to give them a MINUS Star for these people, I would. The staff are seriously RUDE , maliciously devious. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this grocery store. The owners are UNHYGIENIC AND TERRIBLE. They erase expiry dates on some frozen products so that they could sell them even after those food products have expired. When asked, the staff throw a tantrum at customers. I seriously don’t know how nobody checks in them.
