This is my everyday place. it's close to us, and I LOVE the deli meats, and the butcher counter. Great options for grocery, so friendly! I love that they're always speaking italian, make it all feel more authentic. That's what you want from a local grocer, especially Italian. That they know their stuff. The pasta selection and cheese selection is amazing! The Euro household stuff too, it just takes me right back to Europe! if you live nearby, it should be your daily market. Great local spot.
Worst customer service from the cashier, very rude and cherry picks who to be polite and respectful to. You do not cherry pick which shoppers to show gratitude to for spending their dollars at your place of employment.
I have been going here, like many, for years. Old school Italian family run, gem on the Danforth. The best selection of everything you could ever want. The staff are amazing and the selection of bread meats, cheeses, prep ingredients and veggies is outstanding. If you want authentic Italian provisions. Look no further.
Found this local owned Italian supermarket is an amazing. Not so huge, more like a minimart in this Neighborhood East side. But it got everything you need from grocery, home or local made sauces, deli-fresh, sausages and Italian sandwiches catering for local neighbouring around this area. Surprising to see Panettone wrapped with anime Chinese Emperors Face wrappers…..conjunction with Christmas or Chinese New Year Great found.
Love the selection. Staff (especially the cashier could be more friendly). Opening until 9 would be better. Being open until 6 makes it really tough to get to the store after work. That being said, I'm thrilled this store exists!
Great supermarket, has a good selection of produce and other items. Love to get dried pasta here, there are so many options. Deli counter is a big bonus
NOT AN INCLUSIVE SPACE. Misogyny and homophobia at the grocery store. I traveled across town specifically to go to this shop as it is one of the few places you can by Gigi pasta. While shopping two aisles over I could hear one of the staff members (older man) talking to another staff member (younger man) telling him about Keith Richards and Princess Diana. Women were referred to as broads and twice when discussing Elton John he called him a f@gg*t. I dropped my full basket and walked out.
