I LOVE LOVE supporting local business period. I was hoping to have that feeling here at Victoria Whole Foods. I agree with the other poster reviewers. The BOSS lady is extremely rude, and the other staff to a lesser degree. I've been maybe a handful of times, but have no plans to return. In fact I ordered direct from the manufacturer! P.S. A young teenager was in there and politely informed her her goat milk was a weeks past expiry. She rudely told him some people like it like that. Uhmmm... !
This is our go to grocery store. Many people think local means higher prices. It’s not true. Prices are comparable to big box and it’s all natural and healthy food. The owners are incredibly nice and go out of their way to ensure customers get products they need. Specialty products. All organic and healthy foods. Highly highly recommend. Especially the homemade soup, turkey balls, donuts and more.
Victoria’s is a much-loved gem in our community, providing quality foods that I can’t find anywhere else. The owners are always so helpful and friendly. Great spot not just for your own groceries, but for bath and beauty products, supplements, and great gift ideas. Highly recommended!
I'm all about supporting local shops, but boss lady is REALLY selective about who she's nice to. My wife and I tried to make this shop a regular stop of ours for over a decade without much success. She was much nicer to my wife, but every time I interacted with her, I left feeling crummy, so now I just wait until I head over to Kensington Market to grab whatever I need from one of the shops there - where I've never gotten attitude for one reason or another. Too bad.
Wow! Rudest service I have ever experience... European lady w/ European accent was condescending, rude & arrogant. I believe she's the owner... her employees have always been polite & helpful, but her... awful. I have shopped here a few times before and just absorbed her behaviour but never again. I will not spend any money or shop at this store again.
You can’t name your business “Whole Foods” it’s misleading I thought this was a Whole Foods. Now I have to drive another 20 minutes to get to the actual whole foods.
