Bought an elegant suit today at very reasonable price. The owner is very nice and patient with me. She even styled my would-be look with the right accessories. Thank you for a very wonderful experience. This shop is highly recommended.
I bought a saree and paid additional $15 to add a “fall” so that the length is long enough on me as I am tall. They quickly sowed on extra fabric very unevenly to do this. I can’t even wear this saree because it’s lopsided. The blouse that comes with the saree is so short that it won’t even cover a 10 year olds chest. When I called to complain, they said oh you’re so tall, get extra fabric and have the blouse altered. First of all this is a readymade sari, I shouldn’t have to do that. Secondly, my friend who is 5’2 bought the same saree and the blouse doesn’t cover her chest either. The proportions of this saree are very off. It’s badly made. The strap snapped just trying it on for the first time. The uncle that owns the store is nice but the ladies are so rude. It’s overpriced and the quality is lacking.
I went for the first time in this store. I was looking for a really casual suit for a work day thing. The lady (short height and bright undertone) was showing me the Indian/Pakistani suits. And when I liked a suit and tried it on it was kind of loose and the cloth from the sides was folding so I addressed my concern and asked her if they could do something about it. She replied " No. That's how it came from your country." It was very weird as she didn't even know my nationality or anything about me but that sounded pretty hatred which isn't okay on any part. Regardless of whatever country the person is as a saleswoman they should stay indiscriminate as one is there to buy stuff and that is highly unprofessional to bring up. I did like the suit but the comment turned down the entire thing. I don't think that was relevant to say at all to anyone. I hope the management takes this seriously because as customers we do not want to walk into a store and hear all those discriminating comments. It was really upsetting.
Hi, I recently bought a dress from Sonu and it was awesome. The price is very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and polite. I recommend this place.
Honestly speaking I enjoyed my visit. Their very good store to shop for family, friendly staff, great service, great prices. Would recommend to anyone. Went in wanting to buy 1 piece, bought 3 pieces for my whole family! Amazing store and even better staff!
I don't recommend this store for curvier and plus-size women! The collection isn't wide and the salespeople aren't particularly friendly. I'm not going into detail, but I wasn't comfortable and felt casually (even if it was polite) body-shamed. No thanks. I ended up going to a different store in the vicinity that helped me find something I wanted, felt comfortable in & looked good in too. I hope you do better in the future.
What I like most about Sonu is the service provided by the girls. They're always very friendly and help a lot. The prices are average and the only thing I miss is the variety of colors and styles, especially between the lehengas and suits.
