A fun place to get your bike repaired, if you don’t mind getting a little dirty and you actually want to learn how to fix bike repairs. Staff is very friendly, patient and helpful! I will definitely be back there
An amazing place to learn how to fix your bike under the guidance of super-friendly and knowledgeable experts Please support their efforts with a generous donation, if you can afford it! They are an invaluable help to so many people
Great idea and it works! Went for the first time a month again. Was able to solve my valve-stem issue in 10 minutes and it was free! So nice donation made. Only issue is I still don’t know how check-in works; there was a crowd of people milling around outside the store; I went into the store but was kinda gruffly directing to wait outside. I joined the crowd in no particular order; then someone asked what my bike needed and directed me back into the shop. Once in the store i waited uncomfortably to be noticed; was I to go further into the shop and find a workstation or wait to be assigned a space? As it worked out, gruff voiced guy was able to complete the needful at the front of the shop and I was on my way… So apologies but, I still really don’t know how to check in and whether I came across as rude, awkward or totally clueless to the staff and other clients.
The customer service is really bad. I went on a Saturday I have waited for two hours almost 3. They told me to wait outside and a volunteer will come he came he said he will get a tool and it took 1 hour
Great team. A bike store told me I needed a brand new back wheel, cogs and a tune, $250 + to fix it. Bike Sauce fixed with wheel with a few turns of a wrench, and it is good as new. Cannot recommend them enough!
Been there multiple times to have my bike fixed. Handily anybody helps (unless your girl, then you get 5 volunteers on yah) I don't know anything about bikes. Had a flat tire and didn't know how to fix it, after four hours of some little help and the volunteer going back to thr girl that had a small problem with already lots of volunteers around her. I just quit and when to a store and paid $20. This place is only good for buying used parts and even then, they give you those puppy eyes for tips. I am done with this place.
Bought my first bike to commute around the city. The volunteers were crazy helpful! Would love to go there during some events to learn how to fix up my bike in the future!
