Best bike shop downtown, hands down. Joe's a great guy and has a way with bikes like very few mechanics in the city have. It takes him only a few moments to determine what the issue with your bike is and he will give you an accurate timeline and tinker till he gets it. He has extra bits and do-dads around the shop to get even the most obscure build back on the road. He's got great essentials for sale in the shop like bar wrap, racks, fenders, and lights, and he'll make sure the bike you buy in the shop is exactly what you want and he'll keep it working for years and years to come. Reasonably priced, friendly, expert service. I've been going there for about a decade with all manner of bike issues.
I found Joe’s ad on Facebook Marketplace while searching for my dream bike—a lavender-colored beauty. Joe went above and beyond: he even offered to paint the bike in lavender, simply out of genuine goodwill so I could have exactly what I was looking for. The bike itself is top quality—smooth ride, solid build, and every detail carefully finished. But what impressed me most was Joe’s kindness and outstanding service. He truly cares about making his customers happy. Thanks to Joe, I now have my dream bike and an amazing buying experience to remember. This is a real community based bike shop and an absolute gem in the neighbourhood. The prices are great and the service is fantastic. I had an issue with an e-scooter and it was something I was already planning on spending a bunch of money to replace parts on. Joe came in with some quick, professional handy-work wizardry and had the issue resolved in 2 minutes flat! I’ve been in a couple of times now and always have an amazing experience. Probably the only bike shop I’ll go to now.
Had a brake and caliper issue, thought I would have to replace the part but Joe fixed it easily in 5 mins. Been here previously before they always been helpful.
Even though I got there past closing time, the owner stayed late and fixed my rear wheel at a very reasonable price. Such a nice and helpful person! Now I know why he is getting such great reviews from everyone!!
I had a great experience. Needed some light repairs. Went to a 1st shop where they wanted to change parts etc with a bill of 200$. Ask a second opinion to Joe who fixed everything in a few min and did not even wanted to charge me. Will be back!
