Avoid at all costs if you want peace of mind. Owner looks like he's in his 60's yet doesn't understand life at all, terrible communication skills, business skills, and etiquette. Previous reviews are accurate to what I experienced, utter immaturity. Looks at the way he replies to people and you'll understand.
☆As i applied downward pressure onto my 10speed's LEFT crankarm-pedal, a grinding noise could be heard--> Dylan assured me that a bit of tightening would solve my problem at a very, very reasonable cost requiring only 10minutes --> Dylan solved my problem @ a fraction (1/8th) of -estimated co$t AND time that a Bowden bike shop had 'estimated'. It is heartening to know that there are honest bike mechanics (Dylan) around!! * thank you Dylan!
I bought a 110$ lock from them last year and had my brakes serviced with them during COVID. So I thought I had a good connection with them. Today, as I biked pass, I had a small adjustment issue in brake and wanted to fix it myself using a nose-plier sitting on their front desk (while he was right there). To my shock, the owner simply took the tool away from me and said, THOSE ARE OUR TOOLS!'. I usually encountered very chill people in bike shops, so that's why I assumed, I guess I was wrong! Sorry, but I can not endorse this rude (and snob-in-a-childish-way) behavior from grown-ups!
Haven't been in for a little while, but I did a bit of bike maintenance on my ride recently on my own, and I forget just how good this place is. Don't trust your bike to just anyplace. Bring it here: you know it will be fixed right, no upsell, and with a dedicated expertise that is really, really uncommon. I can't tell you how many places have "fixed" my bike, only for me to have to redo the repair at home. This place is the place to go. Hands down. It's a gem.
Attitude is very important as much as their service. I couldn't get any service for my e-bike, but that's okay if they don't have it. But they have a rude attitude obviously if you need help with your e-bike.
Brought my bike in to have some new breaks and housing installed and they did a great job, also true’d my rear wheel and fixed the issues the last shop I brought my bike to left me with for free! She’s riding like a beast now. Will definitely bring my bike back for tune ups and any other service!
Just picked up my electric bike. The cable had snapped and to my surprise they had not only replaced the cable but tightened up the other brake too. I felt safe while riding the bike home. The price was fair too. $25 to replace the broken brake cable. If you are looking for trustworthy, reliable, competent and skilled work I would highly recommend this store.
