He tuned up my e-bike, and was very honest. He took the time to bleed my brakes and asked me to return so he could properly repair my rear break. He didn't charge me more and delivered what he promised.

I had a great experience with James at Byron bikes I brought in my electric Cafe racer replaced the wheels? cleaned up the bike too boot if your skeptical about this shop don't be if your nervous about leaving it in James care don't be the man knows his stuff and knows what he is doing you won't regret having this man repair your bike .. great work and I highly recommend going here I will most definitely be going back here

Rep: "What can I do for you?" he mumbles with his back to me as he continues work on the bike he's repairing. Me: "Hi, I called last week for a few repairs and you told me to bring it in today". I give the short list of repairs I think it needs and he gives me options, still with his back to me and not bothering to get up and inspect the bike he told me to bring in. Then he tells me I can't leave my bike today because he doesn't have the space and won't get to it for about a week. I really don't see why he told me to come in when we could have discussed the repairs on the phone when I called last week and set an appointment then? Based on my experience today, it's clear to me this business is only busy due to a lack of competition in the area. Very poor attitude. I turned around and left. No way am I spending my money here. Updated to reply to owner's response: Thank you for your reply. I think the point you missed here is that I called you the week before and explained I would not be able to get there until after 4pm, but before 5pm. You told me "no appointment was necessary" and to "just bring it in on Tuesday", leaving me with the impression that you would inspect my bike and take it in for repair. Instead, when I arrived, you told me to bring it back almost a week later, and didn't bother to even get up and inspect it after I rushed there after my own day of work. Here's the thing- my time is just as valuable to me as yours is to you. You wasted my time for no reason. It's great that you could acknowledge what I said was all true, but unfortunate that you think sitting with your back to me by way of introduction and wasting my time are not indicative of a poor attitude.

I do not recommend at all. He overcharged me for a simple bike tube change ($75!!!!!!) and supposedly screwed the back support to the back tire but it came off as soon as I left. He screwed me over instead

After a predictably horrendous experience at 'Bike and Forth' further East on Danforth, I came to Byron Bikes, which is where I should have come in the first place. Needing a replacement handlebar post for an obscure and probably bad knockoff of a Rad e-bike, the work was done very quickly and a good price - plus he's an interesting and funny guy to talk to. This is where I will be going from now on. Even if it weren't so close by, I would go out of my way to go to Byron Bikes. Oh, and don't even think of going to 'Bike and Forth'... unnless you like witnessing verbal abuse and big drama.

They have a great selection of bikes. The owner is very knowledgable, friendly, honest and patient. I had a great experience and would give them two thumbs up!

I was at Byron Bikes today Monday May 4,2015 at around 3:00pm. The front door had a sign that said "Sorry we are closed". I came to get my scooter fixed. I left angry. On Google it says you are open until 7:00pm.
