Great service, just before Christmas. They patched the tube for a brand new kids bike, for free! I didn't buy the bike there, but did buy a patch kit for our grandson's stocking, just in case
First of all - fabulous tune up for my 30 year old mountain bike for just $85 !! Secondly, very friendly straight talk service. Story from the start.... I was riding my bike when the left crank arm fell off. So I walked it into the Cyclepath bike shop, prepared to pay for the part and labour. When I pointed out my problem, they got a screw that fit, reattached the crank arm and tightened the right side as well. I asked how much. He said...NO CHARGE ! I thought, I need to adjust both my derailleurs, which I had inadequately installed - so why not give these guys my business So I asked for a quote. $25 per derailleur. Then I asked if the $85 tune up included the derailleurs. YES ! So I asked for the tune up. All done. Next day I took my bike for a long ride to check on the quality of the tune up. IT WAS SUCH A HEAVENLY RIDE !! Wow. The gear shifting was unbelievably smooth and easy, brakes adjusted, all wheels tightened, they even reset on tire that was off centred. In the 30 years of riding my much loved mountain bike, it has never ridden so great as it does now. BIG THANKS TO RON AND HIS STAFF FOR SUCH A GREAT RIDE.
Its the first time I am taking time to have a bad review but I am sorry, I have to. I actually shopped from this place a lot of times but the attitude and communication of the owner or manager or whoever the guy is awful. Whenever I go there, trying to explain something the guy doesn't look at me, either he is looking at his phone, or computer or dealing with something else. OK, you might be busy, you might be overwhelmed but just you are 'booked' you don't have to act like how you are. After almost 2 years of shopping from the shop, today was my last. As I said, its not about the fix or the purchase or whatever the situation may be, just be kind, listen to people and when you are talking to someone look at their face, not whatever you are dealing with. Just because you are busy, you don't need to be a jerk about it. Sorry, good luck.
5 stars isn’t enough to rate the exception service from Ron at the Yonge location. If you have any bike needs, this is the place to go. Brilliantly knowledgeable, incredibly helpful. I recently had my son’s bike packed there to ship overseas. I was so delighted with Ron’s knowledge, I purchased a bike computer and radar there- which to my amazement and delight, Ron installed and configured it for me. It’s small town service in the city! Thanks so much!!!
I have been going to Cyclepath for many years. I have purchased bikes there for myself and family as well as taken our bikes there for service. The main reason for my loyalty is Ron, the man who runs it now. He knows everything about bikes and has been very helpful in helping me select and maintain my current bike at rates that I think are very good.
Great service and good value for money. Appreciated the communication as well. Will definitely bring back my bike when some maintenance will be needed.
I was initially thrown off by the bad reviews but rest assured, service is super friendly and efficient here at Cyclepath Norco. Currently there is a (1) person limit - I came in sometime August 30-31st, 2021 - but I appreciated the employee taking the time to quickly take a look at my blown out tire. He immediately knew where to grab the right tire size + tubes + all the misc items I purchased. I'll definitely be visiting again for all my bike needs. Tubes were pretty standard and inexpensive at $7.99, tire was a reasonable $39.99 (I was worried I'd have to spend somewhere close to $100 for one tire). Really great experience overall. Definitely recommend this shop.
