Incredible selection of books. Would happily support such a business which prides itself in human rights advocacy. Already trekked back a few times and plan to do so again!
Nice neighbourhood spot. Unfortunately, the emplyees' loud chit chat and gossiping (they were pretty much the only people in the whole place talking) was so irritating, that we had to leave
Very cute independent bookstore with plenty of selection. There are many BIPOC and Queer novels available here, as well as other traditional genres. They also have a big selection of children's books from toddler to adolescent.
One of the best bookshops I have been visited and perhaps the best in Toronto. The staff is extremely helpful and they have beautiful collection of books on social, political and queer topics which are hard to find anywhere else.
They have zines!!! Isn't that just lovely? :) It's such a sweet little spot with a great book selection. The staff are also incredibly helpful and patient.
First visit, hopefully the start of many more. Great selection, nice vibe, and helpful staff. I was on the hunt for books for my niece and nephew, and when I asked for a book similar to my first choice but more age appropriate, the one she suggested was spot on. I want it for myself!
Dropped by in store to share my vulnerability with staff about just starting back trying to read more again. I explained, when asking for a suggestion: I had just finished two books and as is with goals if I reach too high I set myself up for failure - could they help me choose a book? I was directed to a contemporary new authour of short stories. How brilliant is that! Thanks Another Story and staff - my confidence and goal setting remains in tact!
