I brought in my Mom's wedding dress from the 1980s. I had been to a few other designers, but Cher was the only one who seemed very passionate about maintaining the integrity of the dress. We worked through a plan to re-design the dress and I had so much fun during the process. Cher has so much expertise in vintage gowns and she really encouraged me to embrace some of my dresses features and have fun with it. The final product exceeded my expectations. It was so sentimental to wear my Mom's wedding dress, but Cher also made it feel like 'me''. I will say, Vintage Bride has SO many incredible dresses in the shop, it was hard walking out with the one I brought in. So this is also a great options for brides who want a unique dress with character.

Cher is just the best! She was beyond patient with me as I went through the wedding dress process. Her selection of dresses is one of a kind. The quality, the beauty and her and her teams skills in repair and alteration! If I could give Cher 10 stars I would! Cher is an absolutely incredible seamstress, her shop is full of beautiful wedding dresses and vintage accessories. I came to Cher with 3 wedding dresses, my mothers, mother-in-laws and my nanny's. None of them fit me and I wanted to combine them into one dress for my own wedding day. Cher had some incredible ideas, which was to combine all three into one, and save enough of my mother-in-laws to wear hers at the rehearsals dinner. She was able to do this within my budget and was super flexible with my fittings because I was living abroad! Adding photos from both of my days and their original days 38 years ago! Thanks so much Cher!!

Had my online ordered dress done by Cher back at end of May for early June wedding. Beautifully fixed to fit me well. She was also so incredibly patient as I had to bring my toddler with me for all fittings. So nice to her which was definitely appreciated. 100% recommend. I had a wonderful experience at the Vintage Bride. Cher was so amazing throughout the entire process. I bought my dress very early, a year and a half out from my wedding date. Even more complicated, I live in Montreal, not Toronto, and my wedding was taking place in Winnipeg - wow! But Cher was so accommodating. She held my dress at her shop for that entire year and a half, and was more than happy to fit in fittings whenever I could find time to come to Toronto. She then shipped the finished dress to Winnipeg for me. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Her selection of vintage dresses is unmatched, and she is an expert with vintage lace repair, let me tell you! The dress was absolutely beautiful the day of. I would not have done anything differently, and truly recommend all brides check out this shop!
