Smashing IT! Do you love chocolate? Because if you do, and I know you then do I have a place for all of you crazy cholate lovers! Let me introduce you to the NUTTY CHOCOLATIER situated in cozy and cool Beaches area along trendy Queen Street East. This wonderful marvel that is enough to make Willy Wonka cry years of joy has been serving some of the most amazing chocolate delights for years now. They have such a great selection of chocolates and other sweets for any tastebud to enjoy. What I really love about the Nutty Chocolatier is the old fashion candy store vibe to it. It also has some amazing sweets and chocolate from Britain and Scotland that I really do appreciate. So if you're in the neighbourhood for some great chocolate and great sweets then you gotta visit the Nutty Chocolatier! Whether it's for yourself or a you're looking to buy that someone special a gift the amazing staff at Nutty Chocolatier are more than willing to assist.

Date of Visit: Saturday, September 6, 2025 I had the most wonderful experience at this candy store today! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly made my visit memorable. There were four workers helping customers—three brunettes and one blonde—and each of them went above and beyond with their customer service. They were so kind, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure everyone found exactly what they were looking for. Their positive energy created such a cheerful environment, and it made the whole shopping experience feel special. Not only was the candy selection amazing, but the outstanding service from this team was what really set the store apart. It’s rare to find such friendly, helpful staff who clearly care about creating a great experience for their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for both incredible sweets and top-tier service!

C’mon! It’s chocolate, and darn good chocolate at that. If you are visiting or cruising Huntsville you have to stop in for chocolate, candy, butter tarts and other tasty treats. While you are there you can also shop for some more typical tourist trade things such as coffee mugs and clothing of the area. Even to check out the historic building is worth the stop. So, one word of advice, don’t go in with too Sweet a tooth!

Store in beaches was my go to for all the British treats. Twice now I have found the person working there to be extremely rude. She raised her voice to me as I was trying to read a product in the lower shelf of the fridge and told me those items were not for sale. There should have been a sign if this was the case. I stormed out of the shop minus my grandchildrens fav treats.

The Nutty Chocolatier on Queen Street has been a staple in the Beaches for years. It is truly a magical place! They have an incredible array of old fashioned candies, modern favourites, international candies and hard-to-find candies. They also have truffles, ice cream, fudge and other products like chips and pastries. The signature milk or dark chocolate letters they offer make great stocking stuffers or simple gifts. It’s been a dream of a place every time I’ve entered and the ladies working here are always friendly and helpful. They have wonderful recommendations, help you find what you’re looking for in the forest of candy and help fill up custom orders, such as a custom Jelly Belly bag. I always love coming back here to get my candy fix!

If you want really good tasting chocolate get it at the Nutty Chocolatier. I've only been to the Beaches location, but I have their gift boxes delivered to me in Gatineau every year for Christmas gifts. The chocolate is so tasty. One reviewer complained that was they thought it had a waxy taste, but I found it had a very creamy taste. Like I said, I get it every every year and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was not greeted by any of the staff members. They refused to acknowledge that I was even a customer inside the store. Disappointed about the lack of selection of British goods, despite what people had said, Also some items were ridiculously overpriced like the tiny bag of Cadbury milk buttons was over 12 dollars something that’s 2 pounds in the UK. I I get that these products have to be shipped here from the UK but that’s price extortion. Safe to say I’ll be going to Bulk mine on Young St instead
