Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Whether it’s a gift for a loved one or yourself, each bonbon is so magnificently crafted that it’s sure to make jaws drop. Each bonbon is beautifully crafted, with an expertly tempered chocolate shell that cracks cleanly under pressure — a crisp, satisfying bite that gives way to luscious fillings within. The durian was a no-brainer - fragrant, creamy, and captures its signature aroma without overwhelming funk. The filling is smooth and milky, with the durian’s tropical sweetness shining through in a way that feels balanced for a wide audience. To my surprise, something else has the king of fruits beat. The Black Garlic Miso Caramel is a complex, savory-sweet gem, delivering a nutty garlic aroma that melts into a rich miso-caramel depth, balancing umami and sweetness in a way that feels indulgent yet sophisticated. Continuing on their Asian inspiration, this is a standout for its playful balance between sweet, spice and numbing. The dark chocolate base carries a subtle yet distinct heat, complete with a gentle numbing tingle. The fruity aroma of Sichuan peppercorns and the toasted almond undertone create a surprisingly elegant fusion. The good ol’ reliable ginger orange also didn’t disappoint. A zesty burst of orange brightens this bonbon, its citrus notes intertwining with a mild, warming spice from the ginger that harmonizes with the dark chocolate’s gentle bitterness.

The best chocolates ever! Furthermore, they have a number of flavours for those who are dairy or gluten intolerant -- how rare is it to find quality yummies that cater to dietary restrictions, and taste SO GOOD! Highly recommended.

This is a magnificent chocolate shop. What a wonderful range of unusual flavours. We bought a large box as a present, plus a small box for ourselves. We couldn’t fault them, everyone a tasty indulgent treat. The gentleman who served us could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This business deserves to succeed!

LIFE-Changing Chocolates*! I tried ALL 30 of their unconventional bon bons & can vouch for the quality, taste, and craftsmanship for each & every flavor. Truly well done interpretations! But if you have a daily calorie limit (like me supposedly LOL) or can’t fit all 30 in your suitcase back home (actually their largest box is 24) or just really unfortunately have to pick and choose: My select favorites were = 1) PPK (Pei Pa Goa - a nostalgic homage to many childhood memories where I would sneak in as many servings of this tasty yet comforting honey loquat minty tasting herbal syrup whenever I was feeling err under the weather). Honestly I was blown away. I’ve seen PPK lozenges, PPK syrup on ice cream, but not PPK in chocolate form until now. Plus the balance is refined yet flavor is true to its roots. If you grew up with PPK, I’d recommend trying this & bringing at least a box home for your loved ones. 2. Black Garlic Miso. Another home run. Didn’t think this could work in chocolate form but the savory flavors and sweetness is well balanced with a caramel intermediary. Would get again. 3. Ume Black Sesame. Loved black sesame flavors growing up & ume’s bright acidity surprising pairs well with it. Fun fusion of traditional Chinese & Japanese flavors. 4. Tom Yum Lemongrass. Dude the slightly savory lemongrass here SINGS! Also this bon bon wasn’t spicy for me (although the mala, passionfruit cayenne, and verbena sansho ones had a bit of a kick in order of priority) 5+. Sorry y’all! Duty calls so I’ll have to post what’s an “abbreviated” review for now and make do w/ an attached picture of my list of remaining favs. Green stars = top tier favs. Black stars= runner up favs. Bars: Also, their Nori Tempura White Chocolate Bar is BOMB. Do yourself a favor and try one. The kinako milk chocolate bar is lovely too - initially chocolate forward with a nice touch of delicate mellow nutty more after taste. They also have a ruby chocolate bar and an award-winning MI GORENG/Indonesian fried noodle dark chocolate bar that I bought but have not tasted yet. Will update on verdict when I have a chance. Caramels: these are pretty fire too! Was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of their black berry version. It’s a great, juicy, fruit-forward version with a nice tang. Their caramel’s mouthfeel reminds me of pate de fruit a bit because they are so generous with the fruity goodness in here. That does add to the density of their caramel’s structure but it’s not super chewy like American ones. I bought their raspberry and regular version but haven’t had time to try them yet (Random fun fact: Maybe it’s kismet, but I also used to work at a company called Onyx! And we’re having a company anniversary later this year.?) *=based on chocolates I’ve tried from the EU, Americas, and Asia so far; so at this point anything I label as life-changing is the highest praise I can give

Wonderful choices of flavours and beautiful colours to match. I've gone here weekly in the summer and taken advantage of their reusable box for refilling. The owners are lovely to talk to as well! My favourites ate black miso garlic and salted egg.

I bought these gorgeous handmade chocolates for a friend’s parents in Bermuda. They were absolutely stunned by how beautiful they looked. They said that the flavours were so bold and one of the best chocolates that they have ever had!

Loved trying lots of flavors, the milk and dark chocolate ones were great. The white chocolate ones weren't as nice, a bit too sweet sometimes. Although costly would recommend and buy again! Is there more info on ingredients? Are any dairy free or vegan for example?
