I brought my laptop in as my fan was experiencing a grinding sound when it was running. He said he fixed it but when I picked it up it sounded the same and I was out $150 :( Update: So I took the laptop to a different repair place. They sent photos showing that this shop had bent the heat sink, lost a bunch of the internal screws, did not replace the fan they stated they did, and just generally mangled the inside of my laptop. Buyer beware.

My roommate and I have been to LaptoPCanada five times: once to fix a desktop's headphone jack, once to fix a broken tablet, once to fix a phone screen, and twice to fix problems they caused during the phone screen repairs. They were friendly, inexpensive, and usually fast; the fix was generally ready within a couple of hours. However, they kept the tablet for a week and a half before telling us there was nothing they could do for it. Their other repairs were successful, but their phone screen fix created several new problems. The phone's speaker stopped working entirely until I brought it back, whereupon they fixed it in a few minutes. Presumably they had forgotten to reattach a connector somewhere, though they were evasive when asked. They also were unable to reseal the phone's casing afterwards, even after I brought it back a third time: they squirted in some adhesive, but the back stayed partially detached.

Why is it 2pm on a Saturday and you are not open? Can you please change your hours of operation so people know not to take time out of their day to drive down when you are not even there. Very unreliable!
