It was a great experience! All staff were super friendly and both my girls (7 & 4) felt super comfortable and were able to get everything done! With zero complaints
The professionalism and amiability of the staff, the caliber of the dental procedures, and the comprehensive patient experience are all highly commendable. Furthermore, specific elements such as meticulous cleanings, lucid explanations of treatment alternatives, negligible waiting periods, and a pristine, comfortable office setting should also be noted.
Double check the suggested treatment plan with other dentist, as the dentists in Sunrise Kids Dental clinic usually take the easiest way of doing their job - just extracting the teeth with cavity while they could treat and keep them in the mouth for kids to be able to eat properly!! After my kids surgery with anaesthesia I realized that 3 of the 8 extracted teeth had a tiny cavities there which could be treated! But our dentist persisted to extract them despite I was against to take out so many teeth out! I regret to rely on this clinic! Never will go back there again!! Not recommended at all!
They made an appointment from early August to the 29th of October. And today they called and cancelled my appointment. Very selfish and abnormal attitude. My daughter's teeth need treatment. And we waited almost 2 months.
EDIT- I received a follow up call from Sunrise 4 days after the extractions to ask how the healing process was going and learned the bad taste etc. were normal for the first few days. This person took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and I was very impressed with how thorough she was. I also received another follow up call from the office manager a week after surgery letting me know she saw my Google review and wanted to see if everything was okay with the healing and if anyone followed up with me etc . She let me know they have written instructions for after care and followed up with the secretaries to remind them of this as well. I DID ask for these and was told they don't give them so not sure what that's about. Perhaps I just spoke to someone who was unaware of this. Regardless the office manager let me know if I have any further concerns to reach out to her and she was quite professional and pleasant during the call. After the way the office handled themselves in those two calls I will be bringing my child back. I appreciate the attentiveness and care in handling my concerns. -------------------------------------------------- My son has been coming here since he first started to get cleanings (he is now almost 8). Recently he had 3 teeth extracted here. I was very impressed with how great they were with him. My only issue was the fact I went in for the extraction appt and was given a bunch of consent forms to sign. I signed them and then said to the front desk nobody had gone through any risks or anything with me, I was only sent a brief plan of what teeth would be extracted. I questioned if they'd go over risks with me before they started and the receptionist told me yes. I went back there and nothing at all was mentioned about any risks at all which I was very unhappy with as these things do come with risks. I know better than to sign a consent in advance again like that. I found it very unprofessional that nothing was gone over. I also got alot of info thrown at me after my son's extractions and when I asked the dentist if I could get written care instructions afterwards as it was alot of info at once she said I will be here until 4pm if you have any other questions- so no written aftercare instructions either. I asked the desk on the way out if I could have a document with aftercare instructions and they told me that they "don't do that". As somebody who has worked in medical reception this really shocked and concerned me. Unfortunately now we are on day 3 since extraction and my child is complaining of a bad taste in his mouth has bad breath and is still swollen. A Google search tells me these may be signs of infection. I'm unsure I want to entrust them with his care after these kinds of things happening during the procedure.
EDIT: Shital is an amazing hygienist. She made my three year old very comfortable. She was knowledgeable, kind, helpful, caring and amazing with my baby! Thank you for making our dental experience as amazing as it could possibly be. Also the receptionist is attentive and friendly, very accommodating also. Great experience again! Sunrise Kids Dental is exceptional! The office boasts a pleasant environment, up to date equipment, a friendly staff, and an amiable admin team. My daughter loves to come here and words cannot fully capture my positive experience! Kudos to the team! ?
