Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! A good meal always starts with bread, lending my lonely mouth a companion until the real show starts. We jumped straight into the mains with four wonderful seared lamb chops, imprinted with a glistening sear of perfectly rendered lamb fat that boasts a deep Maillard flavour. A knife glides through the pink interior with ease, bursting with caprine juices that are elevated with the herbaceous tone of thyme. Accompanying the meat were simple but well-executed vegetables, which contributed their inherent sweetness while being coated in a salivating lamb jus. Like always, I can’t miss my chance to order a filled pasta at an Italian restaurant. Stuffed with a soft filling of braised veal and dressed in a tangy tomato sauce, it was suitable in satisfying my cravings, especially with a generous hand of grated parmesan on top. Looking to take a quick bite of Italy? Look no further than the pleasantly soft, smooth texture of their gnocchi with a subtle chew. Each nugget is evenly coated in a mildly herbaceous pesto and contrasted with a dollop of tangy, creamy ricotta. The fresh basil leaves add a pop of freshness, and they are so refreshing that I wish there were more. Just in case you were still craving more carbs, the complimentary bread is pillowy with a satisfying spring back and pronounced yeasty aroma, just to soak up any of the pesto that remains.
We’ve been coming to Biagio for several years now and it has never failed. Service is top-notch—staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. Food is absolutely delicious, exquisite. You can taste the Italian authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for authentic, calm atmosphere, and exceptional dining—it’s at Biagio.
I went 2 days ago for a Celebration of life of someone. It was a group celebration. There was a buffet and to my surprise 2 staff behind the tables serving us on our plates. Great service. The food was very tasty, warm. We had a good time.
What a wonderful place to dine with dear friends. Attention to detail was a hallmark of both of our visits and we will certainly enjoy more meals there.
The food is excellent and the service is very good and the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very noisy and just very expensive place but it's very good place for steaks and beer
Calling all foodies, this restaurant is a gem, beautiful decor, great ambiance and wonderful food. Our waiter ensured just the right amount of time between courses and when my wife asked his opinion between two mains he brought her a small sample of one choice as an appetizer. Don’t pass up an opportunity to eat at Biagio’s
Nice quiet place near St. Lawrence market. Fish of the day (cod) was good. Portions are small. My friends liked their lamb chops and cheesecake. Decent ✌️
