My wife brought our family here after she read good reviews from our local Beach Metro Magazine. To start, the host was very kind and easy going. We had the place all to ourselves as we arrived early on a Saturday late afternoon. He made some menu suggestions . We ordered butternut raviol, lasagna, a chicken Milanese, a salmon and a Caesar Salad and an arugula salad. Some wine a sangria and some ginger ale for the kids. In short we had a great meal, a couple of highlights: I’m from Baja California where Ceasar Salad was first created, I have to say in only a few places in Toronto have a tired a salad close to the original one. This is one of those places. Ask for the anchovies when you order it. Salmon had a great crust with Italian seasoning. Butternut squash ravioli, lasagna and chicken parmigiana were on point. As my son eats a lot we order an extra pizza (meats). For dessert we had chocolate cake, mango panna cota, we got some raspberry chocolate ice cream on the house. I have to say I was surprised to have such a great meal! I will make this place now a regular place to come with the family.
This spot is so cozy! We stumbled upon it and ended up loving the vibe. Food was well prepared and delicious. Very fair prices, too! Hamim was such a friendly face, so welcoming and honest with his service. Will revisit and highly recommend this gem!
Went for dinner before a show playing at History. Was close enough for walking distance and the food was perfect. The owner was attentive and gave menu recommendations that did not disappoint. Hidden local gem. Definitely recommend.
Small , quaint and very relaxing atmosphere. The food was very good with excellent portions. The grilled calamari on a bed of grilled kale was to die for. Went in for lunch and will have enough for dinner The blues being played in the background was the icing on the cake.
We really like the promotion Mon_Wed 4 courses for $29. Nice atmosphere, great music, great food. I will definitely come back there. They serve bread and butter before they serve the main course, just i wish the bread was warm. Otherwise all was good .
We visited this restaurant, had a cocktail, and ordered a pizza. Unfortunately, the chicken on the pizza was spoiled and rotten. When we complained about it, the waiter offered us cocktail shots. Still, the unpleasant aftertaste remained. There was also a noticeable smell of rotten meat coming from the kitchen. However, to be fair, the waiter was polite.
For the price, you can’t beat this place. We stumbled across it while wandering The Beaches, and the service was top notch. Great food and nice cozy setting.
