I visited your location at the Simcoe Place food court around 12:20 PM. During my visit, I encountered a blonde staff member whom I hadn’t seen before—possibly a manager or a new supervisor. Unfortunately, I witnessed this individual speaking to team members in a very unpleasant and unprofessional manner, and this occurred in full view of customers. As a regular guest who visits at least once a week, I was also spoken to in a way that felt dismissive and condescending, as if I didn’t understand how to place my order. The entire experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. I work in the customer service industry myself, and I found both the treatment of staff and of myself as a customer to be unacceptable. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this matter, as I believe this person could benefit from additional training in both management and customer service.
Tried the Qunioa bowl with black beans, soya meat, corn, burrito sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo(mild salsa), salsa verde(medium salsa), monterey jack & cheddar cheese with their own burrito sauce. Very good portion, very very tasty bowl and everything was very fresh. Great bowl for lunch time and even had leftover for dinner. Will have to try the shrimp one next time. Friendly staff who take the time to prepare a great meal.
Me: Can I have quinoa instead of rice? Server in a not very good day: Sure, but you have to pay extra. Me: Ohh, ok. Can I have vegetables? Server: Also extra. Me: Really? How about guacamole? Server: guess! To sum up, my first and last time.
Came to this food court around 12pm on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty busy. After struggling to fight the urge to eat McDonalds and find a healthier alternative, I decided to try our Freshwest Grill. At first there was a steady long line of customers waiting to be served, so I naturally thought this might be a good option to try. I ordered the Inside-Out Burrito and I was slightly disappointed. I chose to get the brown rice base and the chicken meat option. AI also thought it was a little lame that they were charging extra for sautéed veggies. I know that's standard for guac at most places but veggies too? What frustrated me the most, is that while it was filling, everything was lukewarm / cold. Understandably the lettuce, cheese, salsa & other sauces make the dish cold on top, but the brown rice and meat should be at least warm! The dish was filling, but still lacked flavour overall. I won't likely be returning.
Honestly, not a bad burrito. I was surprised because I don't often come to the path. This was a suprisingly flavorful experience. It was a bit messy and maybe the "Naked Burrito" would be have been better.
