The band 100%, very entertaining. That was the best part of the night. As for the food, if I could rate it less than zero, I would. The buffet is unattended by staff, no serving utensils provided in some dishes, so patrons were using THEIR OWN SPOONS , talking about health violation#1. Food isn’t labelled so you have no idea what you’re eating. The desserts looked like they bought them at Walmart. Staff are rude, heaven forbid you ask a question, they look at you like you have two heads. Oh and there is no table service. They don’t collect dirty dishes from tables so you have them sitting there all night. Drinks are RIDICULOUSLY expensive and watered down. $42 for two drinks. I had to buy an extra shot and pour it in my drink in order to make it taste like SOMETHING. It was 1 ounce of alcohol to 8 ounces of soda water and a tumbler full of ice . Weirdest bar set up I’ve ever seen. You have to pay first, cashier turns the POS machine towards you with the tip option showing, so you have no idea how much you’re paying till it’s too late. Then you have to walk further down the bar where you get ignored for a good twenty minutes before someone decides you’re worthy of being acknowledged even though you’ve been standing there waiving the receipt in their faces trying to get their attention. The tables are so close so each other, that you have to ask the people beside you to pull in their chair so you can shimmy out. One and done, never again.
I don't like to give a bad review unless is really necessary, most of the time if I don't like the place I don't bother reviewing it. However! I went for the live band experience and I noticed a couple of things that merit attention. First the drinks system at the bar, is weird. There's a girl at the cashier who takes your order, and then someone else serves your drink, I order two drinks one after I finished the first one. Both times I had to wait anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes. When I asked the girl at the cashier what's going on? She replied to me that she was not in charge of drinks. Secondly. The same girl at the cashier, Hands you over the machine to pay for drinks, the house already has charged you 18% tip but staff delivetetely hand you over the machine with the tip option open. I tipped twice and saw it in time. I told the girl at the cashier about it, she faked that made a mistake and apologized. But she didn't offer any remedy, she stated that is all preset and couldn't do anything about it. I witnessed the same trick performed to other patrons over and over. There's one thing that we Canadians don't like, and that's being scammed. This might be alright in their countries but is not okay in Canada. It felt like the staff came from an environment where they used to to turn tricks.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rosario Mexican Grill offers an amazing local experience. The service is always friendly and welcoming, the food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor just like real Mexican home cooking. The atmosphere is warm, colorful, and perfect to enjoy with family or friends. I recommended for anyone who loves great food and excellent service. The waiters are very nice but they take forever to serve the drinks, plus in my piña colada over the half of my drink was ice cubes, like a former bartender that's not acceptable.
I went to this place with family and friends after seeing it on TikTok. For $30, you get all-you-can-eat Mexican food, and for $15, you get entrance only. Sounds like a great deal, right? At first, everything seemed fine. I asked for a pitcher of water with ice, which they brought and kept refilling — until 10 PM. That’s when the waitress informed us they would start charging for water. Yes, tap water. That was a major turn-off. Charging for water, especially when it's hot inside, makes no sense at all. The venue itself is spacious and has a lot of potential to be a great Latin club where people can dance and have fun. But they really need to fix the AC situation. It was so hot inside that we couldn’t stay long. There was only one fan on the dance floor, and the heat made it unbearable. We had to leave early. Would we go again? Most likely not. We ended up going next door to Gabby’s Bar — they had AC and some delicious chicken wings. Definitely a better vibe!
False advertising, they announced live rock and a pop band played, the service was bad no one attends and they did not respect the price of a bucket of beer.
I reached out to Rosario at the end of 2024 looking to book a private event for November 2025 as I had attended the location for a party when it was 3030 Dundas West. I spoke with Rosario who confirmed the date would work and we went back and forth over email with questions and drafting a contract. My partner emailed her asking if we could come in person to review the contract and see the location. She confirmed she would meet us there. 30 minutes before we got there, she told us someone named Carla would be meeting us to show us the place. Upon arrival, Rosario was not there. Carla had not been briefed at all and had to get her boss, Patrick. Patrick is Rosario's partner and also did not know anything about us coming to see the venue. He called Rosario on the phone and returned to ask us if we could change the date of our event, as they were a "new business and Saturdays were a busy day of the week for them." We were firm and told him that we had reached out 3 months prior and had the date confirmed. Patrick told us he would contact us by the end of the weekend but never did. After we emailed them back twice, they told us they weren't able to accommodate our event. We wasted so much time on trying to coordinate with them. Very disorganized and unprofessional, I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
