Although the place is small, the food and service at Casa Sonora were excelent, and price very reasonable. I'm certainly coming back to try other items in the menu. Highly recommended!
The food was good, but the 3 people working were speaking in Spanish and assumed we did not know it because we are white. They were making fun of us and saying to not put any spice, which lead to good, but bland tacos. If people are going for authentic food, give the customer the food how it is served.
What a wonderful restaurant to get amazingly tasty Mexican food! My wife and I recently visited the relatively tiny space of Tacos Casa Sonora. While their space is small, the tastes of the tacos we tried were nothing short of spectacular! Since coming to Toronto from the southern United States last year, I've searched all over Toronto for tasty Mexican food. Honestly, I hadn't found anything remotely like I was able to get in the States, that is, until we visited Tacos Casa Sonora this last week. You won't be disappointed! The food is amazing. The people running the restarant are so very kind. Go there now :)!
Ernesto was so kind and provided exceptional service! He was working solo on the day my husband and I visited and it was so impressive watching him manage all the orders while delivering quality food. We will definitely be back!
Lovely place for amazing tacos and tortas! My wife and I wanted to grab some late night munchies and came across this place. We spoke to Ernesto and he’s amazing at what he does with food! Thank you so much for your kindness and delicious food. We will definitely be back! $12 for 3 tacos!
Continued our St. Clair taco tour yesterday. Tried the 3 taco specials at Casa Sonora and left extremely satisfied! The taco were some of the best we’ve had and everyone who works there is extremely friendly.
Been wanting to check out this little spot (love to support small local businesses) and I have to say, it did not disappoint! Super friendly service and delicious tacos!!! The double shelled taco melted in my mouth! Check it out!
