Been going since I was tiny. Small local shop with a great variety of lizards and fish. Great service. Very helpful and educated. They will not sell fish to you if you do not have the appropriate set up. They care about their animals.
This place was really great. They have lots of uncommon stuff that you can't find at larger pet shops. Such as Indian almond leaves. I noticed they had lots of high quality foods Aswell. My personal favorite part about this place was the store cat.
a very laid back and welcoming store. they have a huge variety of animals, all being taken care of - seriously, i've never seen so many people on staff looking after animals in a pet shop. i saw a couple of customers meeting and cuddling with some rats, and the rats seemed very friendly - a good sign that they've been treated very well. they also had a big selection of reptiles, and a whole decent sized room full of fish and aquatic plants, all very healthy looking. If I were looking for a pet this is the place I'd buy one from!
I always have a good experience here. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to answer questions and are clearly genuinely invested in the wellbeing of the animals. I bought my pet lovebird here and felt very comfortable with the care and attention that he and all the other animals received before going to their new homes (one of the benefits of a small shop over a big box pet store). Good selection of pet foods (including bulk food), toys, and accessories. Highly recommend going here even if you're just stopping in to have a look at the animals.
My daughter and I purchased our fish from this place instead of going to a big box pet store as weve done in the past. The selection of fish is great (accessories not as much), prices a bit higher, but the staff really know their stuff and were very helpful in educating us about proper setup and care of our new pets. Im a bit disappointed that some fish can only be purchased as a M/F pair and I had to pay price of the two even though I only took a male. Overall decent shop with knowledgeable, friendly staff.
