We love Pet Uno! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable and we love supporting the neighbourhood. Bonus, they do next-day deliver for heavy and large orders!
I can’t say enough good things about this store. Incredible service, great prices, free delivery, and all the staff are obviously animal lovers. My dog drags us here on every walk.
I really enjoy going to PetUno for my dog. The staff is the reason I come here. Last year, there was a young lady who left, I believe her name was Sarah. She was absolutely amazing! So now, my go to person was Eric, but I haven’t seen him lately. The only reason I go to PetUno, is the really awesome staff. I wish these two employees were still here. PetValu is two blocks away, and I will start going there because it’s closer. ..you guys should really look at your staff, and how much business they keep for you. I truly hope things change, because customers have too many options for pet care
Ive been coming to Pet Uno for about 2 years and the small things added up to a final blow out. 1. I asked them for recommendations for a rewards and treats based trainer in the neighborhood. They gave me the card to a man who glorifies punishment and Ceasars Milan style "break the dogs spirit method" i found this out after I paid $800 and got no refund. Went back to Pet Uno to give them a heads up to not promote this trainer... and was told someone else had also had a bad experience.... why the heck did Pet Uno recommend them?..... 2. I'd been going to have my pups periodically trimmed. The price steadily increased by $10 every time. And it was only told to me after the cut and when I was ready to pay. 3. One time it was my mom who dripped them off and when she went to pay it was triple what I normally paid. They gave my pups a bath and full groom when that was never something I had ever asked. 4. Usually when I drop off my pups I wait in the neighborhood or in the store. I can take 5 hrs. Or longer. That's fine. 6. Spoke a very rude person behind the counter. I kept saying I would prefer to drop in and find a time when the groomer is available. Even if I have to stop by a few times. It's how I've been doing it for 2 years. He kept insisting appointments only. That's the only way to book. I kept saying it wasn't for a full groom. A touch up. And i doesn't matter to me if I have to keep coming back to find availability. I left crying. It wasn't the last straw yet so I started making appointments 5. The only time I didn't wait in the neighborhood i had dropped off my pups for a groom and drove home. I'd had surgery thst day. My mom dropped them off and picked them up. They called me at 4pm to come pick them up (I had dropped them off at 10am) all day. Anyways. I was im the middle of cooking with my mom. I took my time leaving the house. And with traffic my mom got there at 5:30. They charged us $300 plus tax. For "babysitting my dogs" the extra 1.5 hours. Even though they hadn't called and mentioned that they would be charging for late pick up? What is late when there is no designated time. We got there as soon as we could. Person at the front desk was yelling. Calling my mom names. Keeping my dogs hostage. They kept my dogs from 10-4 (plus a bit of time expected for me to come pick them up) and I get charged for day babysitting retroactively? I didn't even argue with them. I told them it was sleazy and quite disgusting to charge someone without warning. If you dont arrive in 30 minutes we will charge you $200 and an exorbitant fee. My pups go to daycare and this is triple the rate. And finally the guy was condescending, rude and malicious to my mom. Absolutely no professionalism. Mind you, it could have been civil. I was civil the whole time and agreed to pay although unfair. I told them I wouldn't be coming back and the guy says great and hangs up the phone on me. I hope they go out of business. By the reviews here that is probably likely. It's also obvious that they've had promotions in their store where you get discounts for favorable reviews. Only way to explain why they have any good reviews. Sleepy people.
It was our first time bringing both our dogs today, and they did a fantastic job! The staff was very friendly - they treated our dogs very well, and made sure they were happy and full of treats. Will definitely be coming back!
i love it here i don’t even like pets. visiting toronto town and needed a gift for the host i offended.the person worked there was so kind i’m not used to being treated that way
This spot is for all of us who truly love our pets. Spectacular selection, the gentleman that always seems to be working is super friendly, super knowledgeable and super helpful. So many food and treat options especially if your pet is a picky eater. Can't say enough positive things about this place. And it's local, not a chain, so support one of the few local pet places left!
