Disappointing Experience with Price Discrepancy I visited Pet Value as I do it at least 3 times per month to get my cats supplies and tto take advantage of some sale items, but my experience was frustrating. When I reached the checkout, the lady behind the counter changed the prices of the items I wanted to purchase, claiming they had the wrong price tag. I had already seen the sale price on the items, and I asked her if she could honor the price I saw. However, she seemed dismissive and implied that I was confused. When I brought the issue to the attention of another employee, I asked if the store had a policy of honoring the price a customer sees, even if it's incorrect. He explained that since the store is owned by an individual and not part of a larger chain, they don't have such a policy. I found this response unsatisfying, especially since many stores do offer this courtesy to customers. Given the poor customer service and lack of transparency around pricing, I wouldn't recommend shopping at this place... It's disappointing when stores prioritize $1 or $2 dollars over loyal customer.
Today my husband went to buy food for our cat, as usual. He reported to me that the owners put signs to indicate what products are made in Canada. Kudos to Pet Valu at 869 Danforth.!! You are amazing
Friendly knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, fairly accessible. Selection is a bit limited due to size but it's in a very convenient location so it's tough to complain

This is a great pet valu location with an excellent supply. I ran out of raw dog food and was able to find everything in needed without problem! The parking is a bit challenging and lacking an accessible spot.
Good selection of large bags of dog food, treats and various supplies and clothing. The staff is very helpful and kind. Dog loves coming here because he always gets a treat or two and lots of pets.
I've been going to this location for some years now and they have everything I need for kitty and huge aquarium set ups. Staff once again they are very helpful and great service.
