I've been going to Moneysworth for years. The service is always the same. One of the best customer service of any business I've gone to, which is rare these days. I've had keys cut, new watch batteries, shoe repair and polishing, he even fixed the strap of my hiking pack. Is there anything this guy can not do? Incredible. Lovely man, good vibe. Great service. Reasonably priced in comparison to other businesses with the same services.
I took my key to this shop to get a copy made, and the owner managed to lose my entire keychain along with it. He admitted he didn’t know where it went and said it was “probably somewhere” around his workspace — which, having seen it myself, is an absolute mess. I’ve returned three or four times trying to be patient and respectful, but at this point it’s clear there’s a serious lack of responsibility and organization here. For how little business this shop appears to get, it’s shocking how little pride is taken in maintaining the space or handling customers’ property. Losing something personal attached to a customer’s order is negligent and unacceptable. I’ve attached video evidence showing the state of the business. I would strongly caution anyone against trusting them with anything important.
Alazar is a master cobbler with amazing skills. He has repaired many pairs of shoes of all types for me, from sandals to hiking boots with all sorts of soles, even extremely worn out ones. He works with care, loves his job, and is earnestly interested in his clients. He does not recommend fixing shoes that are not worth it, and I trust his judgement. Sometimes I insist, though, for shoes that are super valuable to me, and on those occasions his work really becomes an art ! I rely on him a lot, and visiting his workshop is a much more rewarding way of spending my time than going to any shoe store. Thank you, Alazar !
Was un welcoming . Stood there and he was busy on the phone with his colleague . He refused to fix my shoes that it was unfixable. He did fix it before when i came with my boyfriend who was white. He is an immigrant like me and indeed reversed, black on black racism is real .Iam a black woman who that day found another place where my shoe was fixed with better glue. Very better glue.
This place is the mutt's nuts. Available through decent opening hours, reliable to fix anything they touch, and dependable. They do good work and I've had everything from dress shoes to summer sandals repaired here that extend the life of the shoe and make sure you get your money's worth out of them. My partner and I swear by them.
I went to two other places to get some keys cut and they weren’t able to cut all the keys I had wanted. This place did and they work great! Fast, friendly service.
(2023)They are always welcoming and friendly. This time I asked a staff to repair inside of my left boot. I’m excited the result. 今回はブーツ内の革がねくれているのを直してもらう作業をお願いしました。翌日完成$25。完成が楽しみ！ (2021)カナダで初めて靴の修理へ。ブーツのすり減ったheelのrubberを取り替えてもらいに行きました。店員に値段やどんな感じの底になるかなどを聞いたら、親切に教えてくれました。 rubberの後ろがすり減り、茶色の箇所まで剥がれていたんですが、その部分もうまく隠してくれ、いい仕上がりです。時間は50分程度。支払いは$20きっかり。レシートは聞いたらもらえます。靴を預ける時に名前など何も控えないので、気になって早めに取りに行きました。 店内には靴紐、インナーソール、革クリーナー、ベルトなんかも売っています。
