I just went to this repair shop for the first time this week. I brought in a pair of suede/sheepskin winter boots that ripped on the back seam, just simply from pulling them on and off. Other than just stitching it back together, John suggested reinforcing the back seam with a strip of black leather, on both boots. The finished product is better than the original! I have now extended the life of these boots (which I love) by many years. And the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place.
I went to John’s to see if they could repair a split sole on my winter boots. They were absolutely lovely, and fixed the sole in under 5 minutes - totally unexpected! I thought I would have to leave them there, but I walked out with the fixed boot and was able to wear them the same day. I’ll take all my shoes here for repairs. Thanks!!!!
I had an amazing experience at this shoe repair shop! I brought in a pair of shoes I really loved and thought were beyond saving, but they came back looking almost brand new. You can tell they care about the details. If you have any shoes that need fixing, this is definitely the place to go!
John does amazing work at fair prices. Repaired my Frye boots and I have received many compliments. Definitely recommending him to everyone. Even texts you when your items are ready for pickup.
I have taken 2 pairs of shoes here and they have come back better than they were new. The first pair was a pair of heels that broke, and the cobbler put the heel back on stronger than it originally was. The second pair was a pair of boots with a small hole in the leather on one shoe. He reinforced both boots with extra leather in the lining and glued down all the peeling bits. Service is always speedy and he goes above and beyond what I’m expecting.
Excellent service! I recently brought in three pairs of boots (Fluevogs, Frye and Blondo) that were in need of various repairs. John resoled, reheeled and replaced zippers.
