Rushed to buy a present here on December 18th to buy my girlfriend some chocolate before a date. Entered the door and they told me they were closed, google said open until 8 I was there at 7:20. They kept telling me that until 8 is next week and wouldn’t sell me any chocolate. Needless to say left empty handed and upset.
I’ve been a loyal customer for over three years and have always enjoyed shopping at your store. However, I had an experience this past Friday that left me feeling quite disappointed. While I was in line, the customer ahead of me had several questions about the chocolates but ultimately didn’t make a purchase. Despite this, they received around 100g of free chocolates. When I asked the staff member who was serving me whether samples were being given out, I was told it was a special circumstance. I was then offered just a small piece as a sample. To be honest, witnessing this kind of treatment made me feel undervalued and not equally appreciated as a customer. I believe that all customers should be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their purchasing decisions. This experience has left me reconsidering where I choose to spend my money.
ONLINE SHOPPERS BEWARE My husband ordered me chocolates for Valentines Day and Laderach sent the wrong item. We followed up via email, no response after 10 days. Tried logging into the online portal, says his account has been suspended. Called the main office today, waited in a cue for 20 minutes to be told there was no customer service available and to leave a message.
Läderach offers premium Swiss Chocolate that is incomparable to other brands. I have visited both their Yorkdale & Eaton Centre locations and always leave satisfied and impressed with the overall experience. Prices are on the higher end, but worth it for the superior quality of their chocolates. Will be purchasing again in the future for Christmas and special occasions.
Good quality chocolate (snap, flavour) with nice variety of truffles. Unfortunately, the product is very expensive and offers considerably less value in comparison with other chocolatiers in the city. Service staff is average and disengaged.
Love these chocolates .. my husband has been buying them since the store first opened. Ownership has changed, chocolates continue to be lovely, but boy do we miss Ingrid's lovely, smiling presence.
My favourite Swiss chocolate tasted fresh Truffles and crafted exquisitely in quality from London Harrods to here in Yorkdale. Will definitely keep this as my favourite and gifting options. Läderach is such a great chocolate flavour and selection of craftsmanship from Switzerland that my friends and family all like so much both especially in London UK. Hope to see more people to like them in Toronto with a better customer experience needed. The made of quality is not as consistent, needed some more improvements of the rough looking.
