I was looking for a computer repair shop because my hard drive died. Unfortunately, I made a bad choice. DON'T GO NEAR Tech Shop at Parliament and Carlton. They made a mess of my operating system- programs and files are missing, and every time I want to connect to the internet, I have to restart my computer! I tried to resolve the problems with them several times, with no result. I took the tower back in and it was actually made worse. Now when I start the computer, it says boot error. They tried to tell me the internet wasn't working because I didn't have internet! LOL, but not LOL. I called and tried to ask for a partial refund, and the young guy, (not the owner), lied and said that the owner was on vacation. This is the second vacation in 2 weeks... I can't salvage anything from this experience, except to advise everyone else to stay away from them entirely. REPLY TO OWNER-26/07/24: Dishonest answer from a dishonest business. My building doesn't have internet service in 2024?!! How stupid do you think people are? I saw too late that you have many bad reviews similar to mine. The money I gave to you is lost, but I will do everything I can so that other people don't get scammed out of their money as well.
I am technically challenged. my videos all were downloaded onto USB quickly ..without fuss..for reasonable prices. Other tech places could not do..what these guys did in half an hour. Highly recommend. I found another video..am going in again tomorrow.
