I took an expensive Ralph Lauren blazer to this tailor after he claimed he was a professional and could shorten the sleeves properly. Unfortunately, the result was a disaster. He sewed the sleeve buttons in the wrong position and shortened the sleeves about one inch more than the agreed length, completely ruining the proportions. When I pointed out the mistakes, I asked him to undo everything and return the jacket to its original condition. Two days later, when I went back, not only had he done nothing to fix the issue, but he had also damaged the upper part of the sleeve by making a hole in the fabric. I then took the blazer to another tailor. When they opened the sleeves to fix the work, they discovered that because of poor workmanship and lack of skill, the sleeve hem had been damaged. Instead of fixing it properly, the sleeves had been shortened more than necessary to hide the damage, even though there was enough fabric to do the alteration correctly and achieve a factory-like finish. On top of that, he also over-shortened a pair of pants I had given him for hemming. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude throughout the entire process. I strongly advise against trusting this place with any valuable clothing. Lack of skill, carelessness, and unprofessional behavior caused permanent damage to an expensive garment.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRY CLEANING OR ALTERATIONS TO THIS LOCATION!!! UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND STAFF!!! I had been going to this dry cleaners for years-the former owners were impeccable with cleaning and alterations. The establishment is under new management and beware! I took my Moose Knuckles parka in for a dry clean and to have the zipper replaced. I brought my own zipper and the cost was $135.60 which is not cheap. I’ve never seen more atrocious sewing in my life. The zipper isn’t centered, the stitch lines are not clean or even, the stitch length goes from 2.5-4 on the same stitch line, the old threads haven’t been removed, there’s needle puncture marks along the zipper line on both sides and the placket behind the zipper is coming out from the seam line. (See photos attached) My $1450 parka is now damaged from this awful repair including scratches and a hole at the back of the coat. I addressed the conditions which are on the back of the receipt with the owner that states “the company’s liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10x our charge for processing it.” The owner refused to refund my money for the horrible job, for damaging the article or even acknowledging the damages to my article. He offered for a “discount on my next item I bring in.” I will not be returning. This was a proud neighborhood staple that just went from 5 stars to zero. Please take your business elsewhere in the community.

I’m very disappointed with Nova Supreme Dry Cleaners. I brought in my Moose Knuckles jacket, and it came back completely ruined. Definitely would not recommend if you care about your clothes.

I'm very happy to alter my lovely dress at canada tailoring because they are professional at their skills they did amazing job for me thank you so much Aj . Definitely I'm going back to this place if I need any alterations.

After going here for years, they appear to be under new ownership and I am sad to say I will never go back. My silk shirt came back crunchy and stiff, with seams pressed so poorly I need to now try and find a new dry cleaner to see if it can be fixed.

Have been going to Nova for more than a decade, however it seems that new managers have taken over recently. The quality of service is significantly lower - we went recently and they chipped all of the mother of pearl buttons on a suit jacket, and left my wife's silk shirt with new creases in the wrong places. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had brought in a leather jacket to be repaired at Ahmed’s store on St. Clair West When I went to pick it up they said they lost it and the worker had given it to another customer. I asked the manager Ahmad to call me - he never did. So I called him. , it was COVID so I wanted to be considerate. I said I would buy another jacket at a fair price (around $75) and he could just repay me in dry cleaning services. We agreed . I thought this was a very fair on my part as the jacket was originally expensive and replacement costs would be higher. Then the location went out of business. One day I drove by and it was gone. I didn't know what to do. No one called me to follow up. It took me a long time to track Ahmad down to find that he had another store in Richmond Hill. I called and he answered the phone with “Canada Tailoring “ . I said is this Ahmad the dry cleaner? “ yes he said. Then I explained the situation and how long it took me to find him and the agreement we had. He pretended to not know what I was talking about and kept saying “it was before COVID, ( if he didn't recall the situation then how would he know it was pre-covid btw). I said because you closed the business and did not follow up with me and it took me this long to find you. He kept screaming, "I lost my business! I got it the worst! I said “excuse me. - you got it the worst, really? What about people who died from COVID/ Do you think you got it worse than them?" He kept saying "I lost my business!" I said, "but aren’t you running a dry cleaning business now?" He said “no I closed my business I do not have a business anymore” I said but you answered the phone saying “ dry cleaners” he mumbled some lame excuse. HE FLAT-OUT LIED TO ME! This is after I had previously tried to work out a deal with him that was really fair and conciliatory. First he lost my jacket, didn’t replace it, didn't follow up and did not honour our agreement. He is continuing to run this business in Richmond Hill and thought he could just LIE to me and brush me off. Ahmad has NO HONOUR! Please take note : if he could to this to me as a customer he would do this to any of his customers. If he loses your clothing you bring to him, he may not follow up or just close shop and disappear and when you find him he may just claim to not know what you are talking about. Not to be trusted !!! In case anyone thinks I am lying - there is the receipt below..
