Vivian has helped me on many occasions and is always honest and kind. I find her prices reasonable for the work and she always delivers her service with a friendly face. She also makes an effort to get things done quickly when there is a deadline and 9 times out of 10, they’re ready early. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great tailor in the annex area.
One pair of jeans was well done but the other pair was almost 1 inch shorter than what I had requested. Now they are too short. They were new jeans. She made me lose $60.
My Dear Vivian, I have sought your custom for the past 10 years. Your work is exceptional. Your service attitude is not only friendly but outstandingly gracious! Yes, there may have a lapse or two, but these have always been met with an avalanche of quality work and personal goodness!
I’ve been a customer of Vivian’s for over 2 years and the dry cleaning, alteration, and hemming services I’ve received are good. No issues from my end and she is also nice and goes out of her way on occasions.
I would never go out of my way to leave a negative review, especially for a small business. However, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I went for a simple jacket cleaning, and the jacket came back in the same condition as it was when I left it. I highly doubt it was even cleaned. There are stains all over the jacket that could be removed with a simple laundry wash or a scrub. As soon as I was handed the jacket, I noticed a stain, so I asked her what it was. She again, got defensive, and claimed that it is the ONLY stain on the jacket, and it was impossible to get out. I told her it was alright and I understood, but when I got home and examined the jacket, I was shocked at how dirty it was. Even worse, she claimed the service was $28, but I later checked my bank and saw that I was charged $80. I went back to the store to see what had happened, and before I could even finish explaining the issue to her, the lady started yelling at me, claiming it was not her fault and that I should go to my bank. I tried to calm her down and explained that I would do that, however, I would be back to speak to her if I could not resolve the issue at the bank. Again, before I could even finish what I was saying, she yelled again, getting extremely defensive, claiming there was absolutely no way it can be her fault. No apologies, no manners, nothing. I would not be mad if she had apologized or even attempted to check if her machine was the problem. However, she went straight to blaming my bank and yelling at me. NEVER, EVER go here. Dirty jacket (highly doubt it was even touched), extremely rude, and no care in the world to help solve an overcharging issue.
First time at Nice Cleaners. I had a wool coat cleaned and a black leather skirt altered by adding inches on both sides with wool cloth that I provided. Owner Vivian used to be a clothes designer so I felt confident that she will do a great job and she did! She almost re-did the skirt and kept the structure with its lining. The skirt has sentimental value and I'm so happy it fits me now.
One of the friendliest and most professional cleaners I have ever met. I called in last minute on New Years Eve to get some alterations done and she was more than helpful. Thank you
