This lovely dry cleaner has always been great for me - always on time (sometimes early!), super convenient location right near grocery and subway. Seems like a family owned business and I love to support local brick and mortar shops whenever I can. Dry cleaning is excellent and alterations done with exceptional detail. I’ve had dresses altered, pants altered and even had curtains cut and hemmed to size - lovely work! Don’t hesitate to give them a try!
I'm not sure what's with all the complaints on here because most people I have spoken to in the neighborhood has recommended this place. Prices are more than fair, the man is very lovely and communicative and turn around time is always good. I come here to get all my winter coats, suits and duvets dry cleaned.
The man at Towne Cleaners is so kind and helpful!! He fixed my dress and repaired the buttons same day so that I could make it to a wedding on a Saturday afternoon :) very nice man!
The previous reviewer must have been confused. I moved into the area in Oct 2019 and have used Towne Cleaners services several times now. They are friendly, professional and their service is fantastic. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. I have met other happy customers and I hope more people are encouraged to review this location given the high quality of their work.
I do not recommend their services at all. The short old woman ruined a brand new garment of mine by altering it incorrectly. She did not do it the way I asked but took a shortcut instead which made it too small and was poorly done. The old man then started yelling at me and the young man who claims to be the manager refused to fix their error nor compensate me for my garment.
