Came in here recently, when I walked in, whoever was working was at the desk with his feet up playing on his phone. He didn't even acknowledge let alone greet me Looked around the store for a few minutes, and when leaving the employee made eye content before quickly looking away without saying anything or even a simple head nod I've purchased from here before, but am extremely put off by this behavior, show some respect to your customers before you don't have any
Hello Guff! We stopped by and found the perfect dining room table (we've been searching for awhile). And the next day we picked it up. We're happy to have it sitting in our home now. But that's not what I'm writing to you about -- I'm writing because shopping at your store was a great experience! ...from the moment we stepped through the door of Guff and were greeted (by Schroeder) to being assisted with checking out the table/being shown how the drop leafs work (by Schroeder) to paying for the table and a couple of ceramic cups and saucers (the latter just having arrived/but Schroeder looked them up/"no problem") to having our table prepped for pick up (by Paul and Schroeder) to being greeted the next day with a smile (by Paul) to the assist with the table being lifted into the back of our SUV (by Paul) ...it could not have been a better experience!! We will definitely be back -- AND we'll pass on to everyone we know and then some, what a great place to shop Guff is!
He dismissively refused to firm up on what he would pay for my stuff if I brought it in. His estimates of value from pictures I emailed, had the disclaimer 'pending (good) condition', so I asked him what he would pay on delivery if he then deemed them to be in less than good condition. He acted as if I had not asked the question, which I considered rude, and he said he would be happy to not buy them. So I sold it myself on facebook marketplace for way more, and way easier too. No Guff
Being an architect with a love of MCM furniture, Guff has a nice selection of quality vintage teak furniture, art and home accessories. I recently sold a beloved teak desk and credenza to Guff, and the process was easy and their friendly staff moved the pieces away in a very efficient, caring and professional manner. It's great that those pieces that have been in my family for a long time is going to a good home that will be appreciated. Thank you Josh & Andrew!
I sold my dining set to Guff and they were fantastic. Excellent customer service, pick up when they said they would be here, friendly delivery men, careful and respectful handling. I would highly recommend them.
Staff and owner were very informative. It's a nice, large showroom with well restored pieces and their prices are very competitive. Free parking is a plus.
Disappointing Customer Experience with GUFF. I recently visited GUFF and felt compelled to share my experience, which unfortunately left much to be desired. My visit was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere, courtesy of an individual who appeared to be in a sour mood and showed no interest in assisting me. From the moment I entered the establishment, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. The individual I encountered seemed disinterested in hearing my concerns or assisting me with. Their demeanor was unprofessional, and it left a lasting impression of indifference towards customers. In today's competitive market, exceptional customer service is pivotal to a business's success. Regrettably, my experience at GUFF fell short of this standard. I believe that a respectful and attentive attitude towards customers is fundamental to any business, regardless of the circumstances. I hope that GUFF will consider this feedback and take measures to improve the overall customer experience. Politeness, patience, and a willingness to listen are qualities that can make all the difference in fostering customer loyalty and ensuring the success of your business.
