MKT is nothing more than a middleman charging luxury prices for items you can find literally everywhere else for significantly less. There is nothing proprietary about what they sell. Run a Google reverse image search and you’ll quickly see most of their assortment available on Wayfair, Perigold, and other retailers in the same neighborhood, always at much better prices. They market themselves as a curated or exclusive destination, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Despite their claims, nothing is made or designed by MKT. It's incredibly misleading and frankly, pretty pathetic. Even basic things like browsing their offerings are a headache, there’s no functional digital presence, so you’re left guessing what they even carry. In-store is no better: sales associates have very little product knowledge, can’t speak confidently about their own assortment, and it takes forever to get the simplest information. Want to buy something? Good luck, their payment system barely works, adding even more frustration to an already slow and disorganized experience. You’re much better off shopping elsewhere, literally anywhere else. MKT is all markup, no value, and no expertise.
I’ve admired Elte Furniture for a long time, and today, I finally made my first purchase during their amazing moving sale. Elte is renowned for its quality, design, and luxury, and my experience truly reflected that. I was assisted by Habibi, who was incredibly pleasant, helpful, and guided me through the process with great care. Unlike many high-end stores, I felt completely comfortable shopping here, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I was so disgusted with the service at this place. I asked a question and an older man that worked there just kept giving me smarmy unhelpful advice, telling me to google! So much bad attitude, he has white hair and speaks with a lisp. This guy doesn’t deserve to work in the service industry. Will never go back again, he did this in front of 2 other employees that didn’t try to step in and try and be helpful. Toxic environment, do not shop here.
I don't trust this store. When purchasing a product, they do not provide sufficient information and when the consumer requests a return, they say that the product is a special order and cannot be returned. When I first tried to return it, they said it was a sale item and when I told them that it was not a sale item, they now said that it was a special order and that I could not cancel the purchase. I cannot trust this company. I bought 9 dining chairs and a dining light from this store in July. The salesperson told me that the chairs were on special sale, so I rushed to buy them at that time. And I ordered one more light that day. In fact, the price of the light was a bit burdensome for me. I ordered it in July and paid 50% of the total amount. After September, I received an email saying that the items were ready. However, I couldn't receive the delivery because my new house was not yet completed. In December, the house was completed and I was able to receive the delivery. However, my finances got worse while building the house, so I wanted to cancel one of the lights. At first, they said that all the products were on final sale and that I couldn't cancel. However, the invoice said that the lights were not on final sale. So I told them that the lights were not on final sale. Only then did the company tell me that the lights were not on final sale, but that special orders were the same as final sale. In the email I received. 'They(the vendor) have a policy that began in 2024 that all sales delivered outside of the US are final sale.' I bought from ELTE market and I don't understand why they are telling me their vendor's policy. I haven't received the chairs I need right away for about a month due to the cancellation of the lighting purchase. If the lighting purchase isn't cancelled, I don't think I'll ever be happy with any of the other purchases I've made from ELTE MARKET.. I explained my situation and asked them to cancel only the lighting, so I would keep the chairs. The company said they would ask the vendor if it was possible to cancel, but then said that all items coming from overseas are special orders and cannot be canceled or refunded. When I purchased the product, no one ever told me that it was a special order, and they did not tell me that returns were not allowed because they were special orders.
Had a great shopping experience with Mark…. Who (I’m embarrassed to say)…I mistakenly addressed as “Andrew” the entire time ….despite misnaming him…he was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, professional……and when I say I misnamed him…. I don’t mean once or twice …. I called him Andrew NUMEROUS times …. Including once where I bellowed across the sales floor, excited about an item that caught my eye…. “Hey Andrew!” …..damn …. Regardless of all that …. MARK….yes, M A R K ..helped us select a gorgeous, plush, stylish sectional that feel as though you’re sitting on a cloud of stuffed animals. My only problem will be staying awake long enough to watch any game, series or movie actually finish.
Patty and Florian, and in fact, ALL of the staff at Elte MKT, worked above and beyond for us. We had sizing difficulties that they were able to solve, and they worked really hard to stay within our budget. They night have cursed us at time, but you would never know it! Our modular sofa arrives tomorrow! I have recommended Elte MKT to everyone I know, and we will certainly be back again! Thanks Team!!
This place has so much beautiful merchandise to offer. It is huge so be ready to spend some time walking around their warehouse-looking space. I like the fact that you can walk around and not be interrupted or hurried by sales associates. Beautiful higher-end furniture but if you wish, wait for their sale prices. Service, once I was ready to place an order, was quick as there are many associates throughout the space.Walked out with a pillow and 2 Portman stools which I'm waiting to be delivered. Will post pictures.
