I never read the 5 star reviews, which is why I am giving it 4 stars, so people like me will read it. There were a few unforeseen circumstances, like a snowstorm, that prevented delivery, but the company did what they could. I really like my bed, the delivery and set up were more than you could ask for. I am sincerely recommending them to my family and friends.
Scanica had exactly the right product I needed at a reasonable price and overall my experience was good and I'm very happy with the units. We purchased 2 mid-loft beds with stairs and have had them for 3 months now. I used Google maps to verify this vendor was "local" and had good reviews.I was worried about doing an online purchase and having the product shipped across country, but overall the experience worked out really well. I would give 5 stars but I was disappointed with the communication process with the vendor. Pro tip: check your junk/spam folder for email updates and contact the vendor via Google Maps Questions or messaging to get the best response. Vendor did not return my voicemails or answer the phone or return regular email requests. This stressed me out and made me wonder about the vendor's credibility. once I got a hold of the vendor they were quick to respond and the products were as expected. We had to request some missing parts but the vendor shipped them for free promptly and it all worked out well. Good quality for the price. They will be sturdy and last us a long time! Directions for putting together were not awful but not awesome either. There are lots of pieces so it just takes a long time no matter what, but go slow and really read the instructions thoroughly!!
I needed a "big boy" bed for my 2 year old but his room is on the smaller size, so loft beds seemed like the way to go to maximize space and storage. But I didn't want anything too high off the ground, and my husband didn't like the idea of our son using a ladder to get in and out of bed. Finding Scanica was the best choice possible! The fact that they have junior loft beds, and their pricing is so reasonable, plus the fact that you get to pick and choose your extra accessories, and only pay for what you need was wonderful. Everyone else had like 2-3 month delays in shipping but when I called Scanica to confirm availability, I was told the product I was wanted was not only in stock, but because I was local to them, they would have it delivered within the week! They delivered when expected and though building the bed was very tedious and time consuming, we are so pleased with the result and our son is obsessed with his new bed and hidden play space. We bought the junior stairway loft bed with bookcase and chest in espresso.
Ordered a great 5 drawer grey chest that I had difficulty putting together .. I phoned Scanica and Vlad walked me through instructions, sent a new part, and help me problem solve the entire way. The dresser is beautiful and the rapid response and support was fantastic.. would recommend this company to all my friends and family.
I purchased the Arctic loft bed with desk from Scanica a couple of months ago. It's a lifesaver for my tiny apartment! It was fairly easy to assemble and is SUPER study. The wood is high quality, I ordered the bed in the toffee stain and it looks great. I don't have particularly high ceilings, but still have room to sit up in bed as well as a fair amount of room under the bed where the desk is. Would highly recommend!
Amazing service! We bought 2 beds and our order was ready to deliver very quickly. We asked them to change the delivery date to January 1 or 2. Not only did they deliver on the 1st (a holiday), the driver called to confirm so that the boxes wouldn't be left outside. Also, the beds are very sturdy and amazing quality. Very impressive!
Very pleased with the junior stairway loft bed we ordered. Came in a timely manner despite covid delays. My son loves his big boy bed! Customer service was top notch too. Definitely recommend this company!
